Beautiful ocean view of the Sea of Cortez, palm trees and overlooks the Grand Mayan Golf Course. Outside balcony through double glass doors makes for a great view of the morning sunrise while reading your book and drinking your coffee! Very relaxed atmosphere but yet within 20 minutes driving distance to Cabo San Lucas for a great day (or night) out.
This condominium is a very roomy all tile open floor plan with 16 foot vaulted ceilings and a beautifully tiled shower/bath. This is a non-smoking suite and we greatly appreciate those who leave the condo in the same outstanding, clean condition as when they arrived.
This very clean one bedroom suite at Laguna Vista is within walking distance of the beach, bird sanctuary... and then... walk to the Mexican tradition town of San Jose del Cabo for outstanding food along with both on street and inside shopping!
After a day of touristing, relax pool side in the lounge chairs or take a dip in the beautiful solar heated pool maintained by professionals. This complex has 24 hour security to help insure your stay is the very best in relaxation. Grounds are beautifully landscaped and just wait until you see the exotic birds on the property!
The small mall just below the condo supports a real estate office and 3 restaurants with gourmet food (all serve alcohol drinks). Super markets for your weeks supply of groceries nearby (Mega-Mart-less than 5 minute drive) or at the new Wal-Mart store in San Jose del Cabo - 5 minute drive. And there is even a Costco, Sam's Club, Super Wal-Mart and Home DePot within 15 minutes!
We supply everything you need inside the condo except for food and drink! We also supply outdoor fun in the sun items like beach chairs, beach towels, beach bags, snorkeling gear, coolers, life jackets, water noodles, umbrella's, kayaks, maps to great swimming beaches.

Other activities in Los Cabos include Scuba Diving, Glass Bottom Boat Tour (45 minutes) for $7 that takes you where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez, Snorkeling on Lover's Beach and then they come back and pick you up an hour later, Fishing for BIG fish out of marina about 1 mile from condo (dorado and marlin) along with grouper and other types of fish, ocean within 10 minute walk through the bird santuary or on sidewalk, 4 wheeling. We supply you with detailed maps to each activity. Snorkeling at Chileno Bay is the best to see larger colorful fish!! We also Kayak out of Palmilla (5 minute drive from condo), Chileno Bay or Santa Maria (both about a 15 minute drive from condo).

This is a picture of us in 2006 on our honeymoon at the Cabo del Sol beach right in front of their ocean golf course. We are no longer this skinny though!
Why the Owner Chose Laguna Vista
When we visited Los Cabos in 2006 on our honeymooon, we fell in love with the beautiful, warm area. That week, we searched for a reasonable condo to purchase and found this condo and began the process of purchasing. We plan to live there 6 months out of the year once we retire but in the mean time, we would like others to enjoy visiting Los Cabos at a reasonable cost!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We were able to stay at our condo 6 weeks recently and made upgrades. We painted the 16' high wall in the living room/kitchen area and then sanded all cupboard frames and painted those also. We purchased greenery (artificial since we are not there to water live ones) for a finishing touch. We then painted one wall in the bedroom along with the frames of the closet doors to give it a more "Mexico" feel. We painted the entire bathroom that we call our "ocean blue room" now. We also replaced the leuvered doors going into the bathroom and bedroom with solid doors. We then built a Murphy Wall Bed (for when we invite another couple to go with us) and purchased a new mattress - and is it ever comfortable!! It's much more comfortable than a hide-a-bed! We really enjoyed our vaction in the Los Cabos area. We enjoyed the weather even though we heard complaints that it was still winter! For us, the conbination of dry air along with the strong sun and cool nights was a perfect mix. We were also very pleased with the condo. It was spacious, clean and with a great view. On several occasions, we spotted whales just by watching from the balcony! We certainly enjoyed the well kept gardens as well as the pool. We spend almost half a day at the botonical gardens below the condo complex. Often we would walk to the beach and from there walk in one direction or the other for 40-45 minutes and then come back. Often at night we would walk to the public place near the church in San Jose enjoying the activites around there. We would then try different restaurants and I must say generally we were happy with the meals and at acceptable prices. We travelled quite a bit as well touring up and down the southern Baja - from San Jose del Cabo to Cabo San Lucas and then from San Jose del Cabo to La Paz via Los Borriles and came back through Totos Santos via Route 19. We made interesting stops in small villages as we were driving by. It is a good way to learn how people live in the countryside. We went to Cabo San Lucas several times. We were happy to stay in San Jose though as it seems much more quiet. Our favorite was Santa Maria Bay. The waves were smaller there, so it was easier for swimming. One day I brought some bread to see if I could attract fish. I was really successful! Nicely colored fish surrounded me in a few minutes. To summarize how we felt about our holidays in Los Cabos, I do not hesitate to use the word GREAT. I can understand your dream to spend more time there in coming years.
