Brand new, duplex apartment in a two family house. Walls of windows, very sunny, and cheerful.

Three large bedrooms and half tiled bath on the third floor. Master bedroom (on the 2nd floor) and extra large master bathroom with jacuzzi, double-vanity, and separate shower with body jet. Built-in heated marble floor, open design eat-in kitchen and living room combo, and another fully tiled and marble bath on the second floor. A small enclosed porch off kitchen. Plenty side street parking, no residential stickers required.

On bus line 66 to Harvard Square, 70 70A to MIT. Three-quarters of a mile from B line in Allston Village. Bus available to Green line as well.A stroll to the City library and DonCun Dounts.

  • We have stay at this wonderful apartment from March 9 through 18, 2008. This apartment was very clean, beautiful and roomy. It was a way better apartment than we expected. It is located in the safe and quite neighborhood area. We could go to Supermarket and restaurants within 10 minutes on foot. The owner is a very nice and kind. She gave us many information around this area and a greater Boston area. The reason why we went there was to reseach at Harvard University. The apartment is close to the university and convenient. We can recommend anyone this apartment.

  • Thank you for your very helpful assistance in making our reservations for the most attractive accommodations at Unit # 2, 17 Holman Street, Allston. Your speedy response made it easier for us and was the prologue for a most delightful visit. From the moment we walked into the spacious two-level apartment at 17 Holman Street, we were struck by the light and airy feeling and openness of the rooms. We were in Boston in early September for our son's wedding and having our daughters and their husbands and children with us in such a lovely dwelling made the weekend much more special. The new appliances and remodeled bedrooms and bathrooms were such a comfort and were more than adequate, as were the other amenities such as the cookware and kitchenware and utensils, the fluffy towels and comfortable chairs, sofa, and beds. The easily opened windows made for a refreshing cross ventilation . . . and when it was too warm outside, the air conditioning worked perfectly. All of these amenities enhanced our comfortable stay. From our perspective, 17 Holman Street was the ideal location and we easily got to each venue for the wedding and festivities. Numerous restaurants, shops and grocery stores are nearby, many within a nice walking distance. We were warned that parking was at a premium in the neighborhood, but we had no trouble finding on-street parking, day and night for our vehicles. The next time we come to Boston, we will contact you and arrange to stay at 17 Holman Street Unit 2. It's a winner! Thank you again. TJG
