Located on Walnut Mountain, a private upscale gated community only three miles from historic downtown Ellijay and fifteen miles from beautiful and quaint downtown Blue Ridge. Both Ellijay and Blue Ridge have wonderful shopping and restaurants. Also located within half hour of Murphy, North Carolina and McCaysville, Tennessee. During the summer months enjoy all that gorgeous Lake Blue Ridge has to offer including swimming and boating. Whitewater rafting is near by as well. Visit other quaint towns such as Helen or Dahlonaga or hit the best discount shopping mall in Georgia located in Dawsonville, less then an hours drive. Come see the incredible foliage in the fall. Prior to Stay.  Cancellations for reservations for under 2 weeks must
be made a minimum 14 days prior to check in.  Over two weeks 30 day notice.

  • We spent two months this past summer in this wonderful cabin and loved every moment there. We had our two (rescued)greyhounds with us and once they learned how to walk up and down stairs, they also loved their vacation! Steve and Scott were wonderful and answered hundreds of questions from us. It was a wonderful summer getaway and we would do it again.

  • My husband and I had a wonderful time at Far, Far Away cabin. This was a birthday surprise weekend in North Georgia for my husband. Steve was so accommodating for our stay even leaving a little birthday surprise in the refrigerator. The cabin was quite spacious and comfortable. Our dogs enjoyed the cabin as well. We really appreciated that we could bring them with us on this trip. I was impressed by Steve's willingness for our girls to come to the cabin. He is a true dog lover. Thanks Steve for all that you did for us. Your cabin is everything advertised.

  • We just returned from this beautiful home in the mountains. Everything was neat and clean and as described in the listing. Steve is great to work with. We enjoyed sitting on one of the 3 porches, watching the deer stroll by. If you want peace, quiet and shear beauty of nature to enjoy, then this is the place.
