  My partner and I stayed here for 1 week and it was a great apartment. It felt like home and was a joy to return to each evening after walking all over Tokyo during the day. There are three metro stations nearby, the biggest one being Akihabara and about a 15 minute walk from the apartment. This is the 'electric' area town of Tokyo with every imaginable gadget you could need available in the stores lining the streets. This apartment is close the the Karaoke bars and plenty of food options. There is a fantastic restaurant in the corner underground near the apartment. The nearby supermarket is really good, I miss it! The pre-prepared sashimi is great quality and you can buy beer and wine there too, and Suntory whisky, of course. The owner is so accommodating and very helpful should you need recommendations or information. Tokyo is a huge city and so much fun, the location of this apartment made our stay all the more comfortable and easy. We went late January and this was when the Sumo tournament was on, I'd highly recommend going to that if you are there at the right time. This is only a few stops on the metro from Akihabara station. Akihabara station is worth half a day itself, there is a fantastic stand up sushi bar in the food section of the station. We went there a few times. This apartment is large by Tokyo standards, beautiful light fills the apartment by day, reverse cycle air conditioning ensures the temperature is pleasant no matter what the season. Internet was speedy and easy to use. The bathroom facilities were very clean and quite modern. An overall great experience. I would definitely stay here again when I return one day.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

  The owner works next door to the apartment which makes checking in and out very convenient. The room is small by American standards; but, it had all the amenities to make it a very comfortable stay. Do not worry about any of the street noise; we did not notice it during our stay of 9 nights. There is a well stocked supermarket across the street near 7-Eleven and the prepared foods were heavenly according to my kids. Also, there is a 24 hour department store call Don Quijote 10 minutes walk away that have evrething you need similar to a small Wal-mart. Do ask Ayako to rent you their WI-FI hot spot device; it worked well with all of our devices throughout Tokyo. It made navigating in the city easier with Google Maps. In all, a great place to go back to after a long day of exploring the city.

  It took us much looking to find a well-located apartment that would fit myself, my husband and our 2 and a half year old. I feel very lucky to have found this one as it worked out perfectly. It is bright and roomy and set up with charm and comfort. We loved the location both for the convenience and the small streets and shrines. It is a real neighborhood and utterly accessible due to 2 very close metro stops. There are playgrounds at nearby Kanda shrine and Uneo park. There are 2 good grocery stores within a few blocks. Tons of food options. Small streets to walk. Yanaka is 2 metro stops away and a great neighborhood to wander and run. All in all, this is a very comfortable location. But, most importantly, the apartment worked for a family with a small child. There was room to spread out, a small kitchen to make breakfast, and even a comfortable sofa bed for extra sleeping space. It is also stocked--towels, laundry detergent, tea and coffee for that first morning, even bikes which we never got to use. We were quite happy here for almost 2 weeks and would recommend it enthusiastically. Tokyo is a great place to travel with a young child provided you have a good base and this apartment was just that for us. Thank you!
