This was our first visit to Malta, 16 days of joy and wonder. We loved the appartment, its location and the fact that everything, one could want or need was there. Even salt and herbs in the cupboard. Or detergents for the washing mashine. In december it can be a little chilly, but Mario - who was just as nice and helpful as the other reviewers have written - supplied us with an electric heater. When we come back to these beautiful islands, we will certainly book with Mario again.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Excellent base near Valletta

Concerned that we would struggle to find the apartment with our hire car, Mario unexpectedly met us at the airport. That set the tone for our whole stay, as this inexpensive flat exceeded all our expectations. The location is excellent: a short walk to the Strand with the Valletta ferry in one direction or to Tower Road with fun swimming in the other. An excellent supermarket (Scott's) and bakery are very close, and there is a street market right outside the apartment building on some days. The flat is clean, comfortable and simply furnished, and our three kids loved the flatscreen television twice the size of our own. Mario couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable, and I can recommend this accommodation without reservation.

We stayed with six friends in this apartment and had a great time! The rooms are just as big as shown on the pictures :) everything you need is available and the apartment is very clean. WiFi works very well. The provided towels are a nice extra :) few minutes walk to the supermarket and around 10 minutes to the harbour/sea. 30 minutes walk (or a 10 euro taxi ride) to st. Julians/ Paceville. The beds are really comfortable, only the sofabed is a little less comfortable as you can expect.. Lots of storage room in the closets, especially in the double bedroom, not so much in the living room (for the people sleeping on the sofabed). But probably one of the best and cheapest options in Sliema! Friendly owner lives nearby and is always reachable by phone. (although we didn't need to). We brought many things with us like washing-up liquid, soap, towels etc. but they were already provided, so ask before you go! Even with the windows open the apartment got pretty hot so we needed to use the aircon to get some sleep. (costs a few euros extra per week, depending on your use) But that might not be a surprise at the end of august.. conclusion: I would really recommend this place!!!! hard to find a comparable apartment for this price!

the house is comfortable and perfect for six person, is equipped with everything you need. the owner is polite and helpful for every question and necessity. the house is in a good position because is near to the bus station for moving everywhere in Malta, and is near to all the market and shop of sliema. We have great time here and I recommend to all to stay here.

beautiful holiday

We would definitively recommend to visit Malta, a wonderfull island with Gozo and Cumino and to stay in this property as well! We were 4 adults and a 4years old boy and the apartment was perfect to us... clean, spacy, only few minutes from the ferry, and newly refurbishee: the listing description is very accurate. The owner, Mario has been very helpfull and very nice: he came to the airport, waiting us when we rent a car and bring us to home. He was always ready to offer advice (also for restaurants!) and assistance if you need it. there was also a parking place for the car in front of the appartment We recommended the appartment, and we sure return there if we will go to Malta again. Thank you Mario!

Wonderful Week in Sliema

What a wonderful holiday. Malta has so much to offer and should publicise itself more. What perfect weather being high twenties every day. My wife and I and Dubliner daughter(who stayed for 4 days with us) had a ball. Mario, our host, was most obliging providing transfers to and from the Airport at no extra charge. He was always available to offer advice and assitance as required. Apartment is newly refurbished and has all new appliances. Is very comfortable and being back from the holiday strip allowed immersion in the local community from the fruit and vege vendors to Santa Maria Church with its bells chiming all hours of the day and night. The balcony allowed us to join the locals in hanging out our washing. Our only criticism would be the hardness of the mattress on the double bed. My wife and I are used to hard mattresses but we found this one a little too hard for full comfort. We have already recommended the property to our friends who stayed there also. Thanks Mario and Malta for a truly remarkable experience.

I must say that the mattress is a full orthopedic one as recommended by most orthopedic specialists. It is very difficult when choosing a mattress for an apartment as it will be used by many different people with different likings. Yes I must say that the best advertisement is by word of mouth. Appartement coquet, spacieux et très bien équipé. Il est idéalement situé dans une rue calme à deux pas du port de plaisance, des commerces, bars, restaurants et de toutes les commodités. Le bus est le moyen de transport idéal pour découvrir l'île. Sur demande Mario se charge du transfert aller retour aéroport/appartement. En bref, des vacances agréables en famille dans un pays accueillant.

Cozy apartment in Old Town!

We would recommend to visit Malta and to stay in this property as well. Compare to hotels, to stay in the apartment like this one gives you more privacy, possibilities to own cooking (there are food stores nearby) and to feel yourselves not only like tourists but a bit like real Maltese… Everything in the apartment was fine and it is very god planned. The property was clean and well-maintained. The owner provided good customer service; he is helpful, responsive person who trusts his guests (which is also important) and he is always available. The house is situated near the Sliema-ferries and bus station (which is very comfortable) and in the same time in the quiet and nice place with the ancient architecture. We enjoyed the beautiful view over the town, old houses and a great glimpse of the sea from the TV room's balcony!

Great holidays in the beautiful flat

This apartment is a marvelous place to stay! The location is very close to bus stops and Sliema Ferries. There are a lot of different shops and supermarkets nearby. The flat is clean, has new furniture and very good equipped; you can find there everything you can think about. Mario, the owner, was very nice and helpful. We arrived and departed by two different airplanes, and he drove us to/from airport twice. He gave us some detailed explanations about neighborhood when we just arrived and was ready to help us at any moment. Mario, thank you very much, we had wonderful holidays in very nice apartment on the beautiful island Malta!

We were five people and the apartment was a perfect place for our stay. The owner was very nice and helpful. It is very clean and has all the equipment we needed. The location also is very good - just a few minutes from Sliema Ferries. There is also a very good bakery near. We really recommend this place!

it was a very very nice holiday i had , the owner was very friendly and the flat was clean? everything i need i found in the flat. Especially the location of the flat was great, 2 minutes to the bus stop and the seaside.

Our stay at your apartment was perfect. This beautiful little apartment is ideally situated, with easy access to all parts of Sliema. The locals are friendly and there are lots of nice places to eat. We can highly recommend a trip to St. George's Bay, perfect little beach and amazing views over the sea. The Harbor cruse is a must see. Mario and Lisa are wonderful hosts. See you next year. Highly recommended.

I spent my whole summer in this flat and I must admit It was a wonderfull time! There Is a lot of space, nice furnithure - apartment was renewed lately so everything is new and modern :) There are two balconies where we used to sunbathing :))) It's located very close to the central Sliema - the most popular tourist city where everybody can do some shoping or take a seat in one of the cafeteries or restaurant in front of a sea - so relaxing and nice way to spend some time ;))) For me, personally, proximity of the supermarket was very important - It's just 2 minutes far away and It's cheap! I truly recomend this flat! :D Hope You'll have as good time as Me and My Frend had :) Enjoy It :D Justyna
