Three Bears Lodge offers the best of both worlds! Traditional Michigan cottage charm with all the bells and whistles you expect from a NEW home. Features include 100 feet of frontage on beautiful Bear Lake, large dock, expansive yard/lawn (great for outdoor games!), firepit, professionally-designed, exposed aggregate patios and covered porches, OUTDOOR HOT TUB AND WATER TRAMPOLINE.
Bear Lake is a well kept secret: close to everything while offering the seclusion of being in the middle of nowhere! It's a terrific spot for a family gathering or golf getaway. The lake features 1,800 acres with a sandy bottom and little boat traffic, making it great for fishing, skiing, sailing and swimming. This cottage is extremely clean and well-kept with everything you will need to make your vacation enjoyable. Sorry no pets or smokers please.
We offer the cottage for rent for a limited number of weeks each summer and in the off season. We enjoy nice properties while we travel and strive to keep our cottage up to the highest standards. This is not your typical rental....it's more like a high end bed and breakfast, but you provide the breakfast! You'll find wonderful mattresses, down comforters with duvets, featherbeds on the queen beds, etc. Please read the comments from those who have stayed with us!
The interior features extensive hardwood flooring, vaulted ceilings, loads of knotty pine, solid surface and granite countertops, new appliances, ceiling fans, luxury linens, multiple TVs, surround sound stereo, and charming decor throughout. The lower level rec room features large screen home theater and sleeping nook. We also provide wireless internet, desktop computer and private desk with executive leather chair (for those who can't leave the office!), cable TV with free movie channels and cable music through the whole house stereo system.

Fully refundable deposit of $400, and remaining 50% due within 30 days of rental
Security deposit refunded if no damage and cottage left clean.

Looking out on the beautiful view by the lake on our last day, we can't help but smile thinking of all the fun we've had at your beautiful home. Our aching shoulders and tired arms are a sign that this is the first time any of us has kayaked.....and loved it! The water trampoline, hot tub and hammock were a blast too. Even on stormy, rainy nights we had great family game nights, biscotti baking and watched the storms roll in. We've made some very fond memories that we'll always hold dear and we thank you for making this all possible and opening your beautiful home to us.

What an amazing place this is! It is not only absolutely beautiful, but it is totally accommodating to all needs. The house is both lovely and comfortable. The layout of the living area and bedrooms is so great, it is practically soundproof. The downstairs was a perfect hangout for four teenagers, when they were not having a blast in the lake, jumping on the water trampoline, using the paddle boat or "touring" the lake in the kayaks. The kayaks were a hit with the adults as well....and the hot tub and the outdoor eating facilities, and, and, and. It was all great. We also enjoyed some day trips, since there are many fun things to do in the area. Thank you so much for providing the fabulous location for one of our best vacations ever!

What a place! The owners managed to preserve all the the charm of the original cabin yet have all of the comfort and amenities one would expect at a 5 star resort. Everyone in our family (teens to oldsters) wanted to stay longer. Wonderful home base for all there is to do in the area, but really no need to leave at all - everything is there, from kayaks, paddle boat, life jackets and water trampoline to the 2 grills, games, books, hot tub, and firepit, cookbooks, wine glasses, comfy beds and even robes. Thank you Jennings family for sharing this gem with us!

We came with four teens, one grandmother, my wife and I and the layout could not have been better. The "Bunkhouse" in the basement gave the teens a place to be away from us, and we had peace and quiet while they played games in surround sound. This is our 8th vacation in 8 states and Three Bears Lodge may be our favorite spot yet.

We had a wonderful time at Three Bears Lodge. The cottage is just beautiful, has EVERYTHING you could want and more! Location is great - cute towns nearby, amazing golf and sunsets at Arcadia Bluffs. Hope to be back soon!

We had a fantastic stay here. We had 6 adults and 5 children in our group and had plenty of room. The kids had a great time in the lake which is very clean and shallow near the shore with a sandy bottom. We enjoyed a lot of time outside in the great yard and the hammock. Thanks so much!

This was one of our most favorite vacations! The home is beautiful and had everything we needed...and more! The rooms were clean and spacious and the layout was perfect for our families. The kids loved swimming in the crystal clear water and played for hours in the kayaks and paddleboat. The seating available outside was wonderful and s'mores by the fire were a must each evening. Thanks so much for sharing your home...we had such a great time at Three Bears Lodge!

We've stayed in lots of VRBOs and this cottage was the best. It was so comfortable...we felt very at home. The kids loved the lake and all of the "toys" that are included with the cottage. I loved that I wasn't lacking for anything...if I needed it, it was there. Comfortable beds. Wireless internet. Beautiful location. And, very, very nice owners.
