Looking out on the beautiful view by the lake on our last day, we can't help but smile thinking of all the fun we've had at your beautiful home. Our aching shoulders and tired arms are a sign that this is the first time any of us has kayaked.....and loved it! The water trampoline, hot tub and hammock were a blast too. Even on stormy, rainy nights we had great family game nights, biscotti baking and watched the storms roll in. We've made some very fond memories that we'll always hold dear and we thank you for making this all possible and opening your beautiful home to us.

What an amazing place this is! It is not only absolutely beautiful, but it is totally accommodating to all needs. The house is both lovely and comfortable. The layout of the living area and bedrooms is so great, it is practically soundproof. The downstairs was a perfect hangout for four teenagers, when they were not having a blast in the lake, jumping on the water trampoline, using the paddle boat or "touring" the lake in the kayaks. The kayaks were a hit with the adults as well....and the hot tub and the outdoor eating facilities, and, and, and. It was all great. We also enjoyed some day trips, since there are many fun things to do in the area. Thank you so much for providing the fabulous location for one of our best vacations ever!

What a place! The owners managed to preserve all the the charm of the original cabin yet have all of the comfort and amenities one would expect at a 5 star resort. Everyone in our family (teens to oldsters) wanted to stay longer. Wonderful home base for all there is to do in the area, but really no need to leave at all - everything is there, from kayaks, paddle boat, life jackets and water trampoline to the 2 grills, games, books, hot tub, and firepit, cookbooks, wine glasses, comfy beds and even robes. Thank you Jennings family for sharing this gem with us!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We came with four teens, one grandmother, my wife and I and the layout could not have been better. The "Bunkhouse" in the basement gave the teens a place to be away from us, and we had peace and quiet while they played games in surround sound. This is our 8th vacation in 8 states and Three Bears Lodge may be our favorite spot yet.

We had a wonderful time at Three Bears Lodge. The cottage is just beautiful, has EVERYTHING you could want and more! Location is great - cute towns nearby, amazing golf and sunsets at Arcadia Bluffs. Hope to be back soon!

We had a fantastic stay here. We had 6 adults and 5 children in our group and had plenty of room. The kids had a great time in the lake which is very clean and shallow near the shore with a sandy bottom. We enjoyed a lot of time outside in the great yard and the hammock. Thanks so much!

This was one of our most favorite vacations! The home is beautiful and had everything we needed...and more! The rooms were clean and spacious and the layout was perfect for our families. The kids loved swimming in the crystal clear water and played for hours in the kayaks and paddleboat. The seating available outside was wonderful and s'mores by the fire were a must each evening. Thanks so much for sharing your home...we had such a great time at Three Bears Lodge!

We've stayed in lots of VRBOs and this cottage was the best. It was so comfortable...we felt very at home. The kids loved the lake and all of the "toys" that are included with the cottage. I loved that I wasn't lacking for anything...if I needed it, it was there. Comfortable beds. Wireless internet. Beautiful location. And, very, very nice owners.

What a beautiful home to rent. We had so much fun as a family. The lake water was clean and shallow. . . great for smaller children to swim and play. The home accomodated our families very nicely. A beautiful area to visit.

We had amazing days at Lake Michigan, great bike rides around Bear Lake, long soaks in the hot tub, memorable campfires, and altogether, a perfect week! Totally worth the 15 hour drive back to Boston!

This was the perfect cottage. It was both spacious and cozy. Lots of room to gather or for teenagers to retreat. Everything is new and well maintained. The owners are very pleasant to work with. No hestitation to recommend this vacation.

We just returned from a wonderful week at this cabin. After re-reading the description, I felt I need to add our impressions-it was FABULOUS!! The lake offered excellent fishing, it was very, very quiet and peaceful, weather was great, the kayaks and paddle boat were very fun for the kids, as was the hot tub, which we all enjoyed. The cabin itself it just beautiful, with a real professional touch to the decorating. No second-hand furniture and garage sale pots and pans here-EVERYTHING was excellent quality. We were sad when it was time to leave and are already looking forward to next year. Also, the bedroom set-up was perfect. They are all beautiful and comfortable and there was separation between rooms-we all (11 people) slept so soundly. The owners are honest and fair and kept in very good communication with us. We have rented cabins before at other locations, and usually were in for an unpleasant surprise. This cabin at Bear Lake exceeded our expectations and was an excellent value. We wouldn't change a thing!

Thank you for a fantastic vacation! My husband and I joined my parents for a week filled with memories. This home is GREAT and as I boated up and down the shoreline I could see we had the prettiest cottage on Bear Lake! My husband and I came in from busy Orange County, CA - this was so perfectly relaxing - he fished every chance possible and I caught lots of sun. Also got my nails done with Mom and sisters...now that's camping! I love your attention to detail. Henkels knives, Ralph Lauren towels, and all the cozy bear decor. Good Job! I am so happy with this place! If you don't mind, I'm pretty sure I'll be back. Thanks Again!
