We decided to try something new when our family few out to California to visit us, we'd never been to Encinitas but we're so glad we picked it! We knew it was on the bluff but just walking in the front door you could see the ocean stretching out forever, and then we stepped out onto the huge deck and were mesmerized by the pelicans flying by only a few feet from us. Apparently they glide along the ocean breeze as it hits the bluff but we'd never seen anything like it. What a way to start your vacation. We took the path down to the beach and it was covered with wild flowers all over the bluff. The beach was perfect and we walked every morning. We were so glad we choose this property it had so much room with 2 living rooms, 2 dining rooms and a huge patio with enough room for us all to eat breakfast outside every morning. The evenings were perfect with our private spa overlooking the ocean and a huge fireplace in the living room. We found some great restaurants in Encinitas, Vigaluci's was my favorite by far with a truly great staff. The teenagers loved the Seaside Bazaar and all the trendy retro consignment shops. It was so entertaining watching all the surfer everyday and then the dolphins would join the winding through the waves. Of course the guys had fun with the putting green right off the deck. Even though I don't like doing laundry on vacation I have to say with 10 of us staying there it was great to have 2 sets of washers and dryers just so we always had fresh towels. This is the second time we've rented a Beach Front Only property and it's everything they said it would be and more. Can't wait to plan our next trip to the beach.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We were a family of 12 ages 73 - 2, we stayed for a week. The house was very clean & comfortable. Great location in between Legoland & Seaworld. We caught the train in Encinitas, one day & road down to Old town & Sea Port Village. We had plenty of room for the little ones to run. We really didn't have any bad comments for the house it was a great family vacation. Thanks Beach Front Only Rentals.

Our family came to Encinitas for our son's wedding. The rental home was spectacular...breathtaking views of the ocean, roomy family space to gather, very clean and the putting green was a nice touch. We enjoyed hours of fun competing in the Neptune Open. The BeachFront management was very attentive and called several times during the week to make sure we were happy and offered any help we needed. I was particularly surprised and releived when a staff member showed up and moved all of our trash cans out for pick up. That was a big plus and greatly appreciated. We loved our week so much we have already booked the same property for March of 2011. Thanks from the Pitts family!

The home is spacious and well kept. The views are spectacular! Easy access to I5 and a quick drive to San Diego. All around, it was a great stay and would recommend it to anyone.

After our 3rd yoga retreat in "OUR" beautiful home, we can't wait to do it again in 2010. We may be booking more than one week. Everyone who is connected to Beachfront Only, from booking the date, housekeeping and property manager all were helpful and pleasant! Thank you again for another dream vacation.

This has been a great place for our family to gather once a year for many years now. We had switched to a newer Oceanside property for couple of year, but returned here because the beach is much nicer for the little ones in the family, and the waves less dangerous. The adult children and I have always liked the view from the balconies of the upper floors with immediate sense of beach smells and sounds when we step out from the living room. The other properties have their benefits, but for now the Neptune property is perfect for us.

We take a family trip every year, there is 11 of us. This year we thought it to be fun to rent a beach house and just enjoy kicking back at the beach. The house was FABULOUS! It over exceeded our expectations, it had everything we needed minus our personal items. The beach was extremely nice and we had a absolute wonderful time. We will be making a trip back as often as we can and renting through you BeachFront. Your staff was also extremely wonderful, working with us and giving prompt response to our request. Thank you so much for a FABULOUS family vacation!

We rented this house for a friend's 60th birthday party weekend getaway. Everyone had a fantastic time! The floor plan of the house was perfect. The weather was typical May gray but we still went for long walks on the beach and loved the view of the dolphins! We will definitely stay here again.

A reunion of 5 couples requires a home with 5 bedrooms and 5 baths on a bluff overlooking the Pacific with a putting green. Right? If this is what you need look no further. Great location, furnshings, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, it was perfect. We all enjoyed the house.

Fantastic location with breathtaking views. Sensational sunsets from your own garden, on a par with those in the Indian Ocean. Beach was deserted for most times apart from surfers in sea and my son loved learning to use a boogie board and cannot wait to return. could not even be tempted to leave the beach to visit Disneyland for the day. Whilst the immediate locality was very quiet it was only a 10 minute drive to fantastic restaurants. Overall the perfect holiday location with that feeling that you had been transported back in time to those fantastic beach holidays.

If you are planning a family trip to San Diego, I would highly recommend this rental. Encinitas is a perfect place to stay becasue it is easily accessable to everything in San Diego along with having the feel of a small town to visit. Encinitas is a small town that is easy to walk to both shopping and resturants. On the days that we did not go to the San Diego Zoo or SeaWorld, we played in the ocean and on the beach. It was a wonderful vacation and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a mix of fun and relaxation.
