This beautiful, spacious marshfront home has five bedrooms, each with color television and DVD player, four and one-half baths, three separate decks, a private pool and hot tub, gorgeous oak trees and a serene view of the tidal creek and marsh. There are also two kayaks which can be launched from the property at high tide.
The home is tri-level, with tile and hardwood flooring throughout. Each room has at least one ceiling fan. Most of the ceilings on the second and third floors are vaulted, and there are numerous skylights. The first floor living area is tiled, has a fireplace, a 73" high definition TV, with DVD player, and is completely glassed on the end overlooking the pool and marsh.
The dining area has a large solid wood table which accommodates ten. A bar, which seats two, separates the dining area from the full kitchen. Also on the first floor is one of the two master suites, with king size bed, a view of the marsh, and a luxurious private bath with double sinks, a two person jacuzzi, and walk-in tiled shower. This bedroom has sliding glass doors leading to the pool deck and six person hot tub. There also is a half bath on this floor.
The second floor has two bedrooms, each with hardwood floors and its own vanity. These bedrooms have a shower room between them which can be privately accessed from either room. One of the rooms has a queen bed and a private deck with a limited ocean view. The other room has a queen bed and a bunk bed. The second floor also has a full bath off the hall.
The third floor has a game room with bar, the second master suite, the fifth bedroom and a shared porch overlooking the pool and marsh. The game room has an eight foot mahogany pool table with a ping-pong conversion top, a mahogany wet bar with fridge, four bar stools, a couch, a 47" flat screen wall mounted TV and stereo.
The master suite has a king bed, leather pull-out couch, double sinks, a two person jacuzzi tub and a door leading to the covered porch. The fifth bedroom has a queen bed and also has porch access. The home is a Saturday-Saturday rental only during the spring and summer, but the rental schedule during the fall and winter is flexible. There is a three day minimum stay during the fall and winter.
The nearest beach access is 1.9 miles from the house.

Our family of seven adults and one child spent a week in December at this lovely home. Each of us had as much privacy as we wanted because the size and floorplan for the house was nicely done. The VRBO photo gallery and video of the home are very good representations of its furnishings, which are very attractive. We were hoping for a really high tide so we go kayaking from the property, only one day had a high tide and it was too cold to go out. Otherwise the weather was very warm and very uncharacteristic for the first week in December. We would definitely rent the home again. Seabrook Island is delightful.

My brother and I have been coming to Seabrook Island since we were children- we now come as adults with our own children. We have stayed at many different condos and homes on the island over the years, but this home had the best layout for our large group! We had a group of twelve ages 5-70 and everyone had plenty of space to do their own thing without bothering others. Some of the adults enjoyed getting up early-enjoying coffee at the pool and exploring the island while the teenagers slept in late and enjoyed the game room til the wee hours of the am. We all really enjoyed the pool and kayaks. The pictures of this home do not do it justice! It is lovely- inside and out! It is wisely furnished so that there are no worries having young children in and out of the pool and home. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked. The ice maker made coolers full of refreshments for the beach very convenient. The lawn area of the yard was ideal for ladderball games- or bocce. The landscaping was beautiful! I cannot say enough good things about the roominess of this home! There is plenty of room for large groups to eat meals together, hang in the livingroom tegether, sit by the pool together etc. We cannot wait to return to this home next year!!

My family of ten ..six adults and four children..decided our vacation on Seabrook Island was the most fun ever!!! The home had wonderful space... even better than described. Much time was spent in the game room, pool and kayaking on the marsh. ( I especially loved having morning coffee on the deck next to the marsh and listening to the sounds of nature.) Bikes were rented for our kiddos and they enjoyed riding their bikes to the beach. The men in our family were very complimentary of the fitness center and golf courses. We thought the club house and outdoor swimming pool were lovely; however, we preferred to spend time on the beach and at the house. We did go into Charleston one day; however, most of us couldn't wait to get back to the island. We left with many happy memories and the hope of returning soon. Many thanks to Jodi and Cameron for making our stay so very simple to plan and for having the home ready for us just as they had said they would do.

This home on Seabrook Island exceeded our expectations in every way. We are leaving after a week-long vacation and will certainly come back. Seabrook Island is perfect, and this home is exactly where you want to be on the island. We were absolutely comfortable letting the 5, 10 and 12 year olds go on a bike ride alone. It was a short bike ride and or drive to the Lake House and main pool. The house was spotless, well maintained and the photos don't do the bedrooms justice. They are much bigger than they look in the pictures. The refrigerator is huge and there is an extra ice maker to the right of it so you have plenty of ice for your beach cooler. We love to cook and found every pot and or pan we needed. The kitchen is better equipped than mine at home. The yard below the deck was perfect for bocce and for the youngsters to burn off energy. The Island itself has so much to offer for golfers, beach combers, bikers, bird watchers, and family members who just want to relax. We brought our own beach chairs but found there were 6 already here for us to use. Thank you also to Jodi who quickly answered every question prior to our arrival. This home was a true find! We actually had 16 family members here and we ALL slept comfortably in this huge house.

Our extended family (14 total) stayed at this beautiful house over Labor Day weekend. It far exceeded our expectations in every way. The home is very large, larger than it appears from the street, and laid out perfectly. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and spacious - especially the two master suites! The main living room/kitchen area is very nice with a large table that is perfect for big family dinners or games of poker. The outdoor living area is amazing - with a hut tub that is very clean, a nice pool and a very nice deck with some great seating areas. Being on the marsh is especially nice and we all enjoyed taking the kayaks out when the water came in high enough. The views are spectacular and the street is very quiet. (I believe this is the only rental house on this particular street.) The owner is very nice to deal with and has gone to great lengths to make this house comfortable and guest friendly. The huge TV in the main living room is amazing! We will definitely rent this house again!

This house was just as we were hoping it would be. We had multiple families from different parts of the country all meeting for an extended family vacation. The pool and billiard/ping pong table kept the kids entertained all the time. The island had many things to do and the fact that it was private gave it more seclusion than a lot of beaches. The beaches were not crowded and the kids were able to find a ton of sea life (star fish, conchs, a horseshoe crab, etc.), which was the highlight of their trip. We didn't eat at any of the Seabrook Island restaurants, so I can't comment on those, but we found some nice places right outside the gate. Charleston is about a 30 minute trip (depending on which part you're going to), so it's very accessible. Seabrook Island has somewhat of a country club feel to it. It's definitely great for families.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children.

We had a wonderful stay at Seabrook Island. This house is everything it claims to be and more - from the pool to the beach to the marsh - we enjoyed all of it. The house is comfortable and spacious, and the kids and adults alike had a great time. We all can't wait to come back!! I only wish we had rented the bikes sooner, for longer, and that high tide had come in higher and earlier in the week.
