Stylish luxury in a well designed contemporary family home with traditional plantation house charm. The property is located in half an acre of gorgeous tropical gardens, with a private pool. It is spacious, offering 2,000 sq feet of interior space plus 1,000 sq feet of covered balcony which wraps around the whole villa, and is accessible via French doors from every room. The 3 bedrooms have French doors to three different sides of the balcony, maximising privacy. The climate, stunning sea views, hummingbirds & cooling breezes draw you to outdoor living here, and the huge balcony has a comfortable seating area for reading & sundowners along with two outside dining tables to choose from. A double staircase leads down to the pool, with outdoor shower, sun loungers, and a decked gazebo for dappled shade. The living area and balcony is on one level, with just three steps up from the parking area, making access very easy. Supervision of children/toddlers is essential for safe use of the pool and balcony. The house has Wifi.
Kitchen: The contemporary kitchen is very spacious, and fully equipped with all you could need to make a snack or a gourmet meal. It is light and airy, with French doors to the balcony. A second balcony dining table with chairs is located near the kitchen French doors.
Internet: The house has wireless broadband and a small workstation in the living room looking out to sea .
Sun loungers: Sun loungers are provided which can be used by the pool, under the shady gazebo, or on the balcony.
Electrical supply: The electrical supply throughout the house is 120 volts and 60 cycles with US style flat pin sockets. Additionally each bedroom has one special socket offering 240 volts and 60cycle with a converter that will take both UK square pin and European round pin plugs. Perfect for recharging mobile phones.
Water supply: the water supply is eco-friendly, natural soft rainwater, collected from the house roof, and and stored in an underground tank. While it is not recommended for drinking, it can be used for cooking when food is boiled. It is wonderful soft water to use for showering as so little soap is required. As Antigua is one of the driest of the Caribbean islands, water is precious, so we ask our guests to go 'green' and use our natural water supply with care. Drinking water: there is a free standing water cooler in the kitchen, which takes five gallon bottles, which are available at the supermarket just down the road. The cooler is similar to those you find in offices.
Toddlers & young children: must be constantly supervised in & around the pool, on the steps leading down to the pool from the balcony, and also when on the balcony, due to the traditional Caribbean open design of the balcony railings, through which a determined toddler/small child could climb.
Pool: the palm fringed pool (25 feet x 12 feet) has an all over depth of approx 4ft 3 ins/1.30 m with steps leading down into the water, where you can sit and linger awhile with a cocktail in hand. A wide selection of unbreakable plastic 'poolside' glasses for exactly this purpose can be found in the kitchen. There is an outdoor shower beside the pool, with hot & cold water. The pool is professionally serviced once a week all year round, as the water temperature never normally falls below 70 degrees Fahrenheit, and is usually above 80f during the day. House management: the house is professionally managed and looked after for the owners when absent, by Anna Todd of Island Rentals in English Harbour. Anna speaks fluent English and German, and can be reached during normal weekday office hours on 462 2662 or mobile 726 2662. The house is cleaned once a week. Extra cleaning can be provided by prior arrangement with Anna. A gardener maintains the garden year round.

Bedroom 2 has a personal door (with lock) to en suite bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC, shared with bedroom 3.
Bedroom 3 has a personal door (with lock) to en suite bathroom shared with Bedroom 2.
All bedrooms have built in wardrobes, with ample hanging space and shelving, dressing table with chair and mirror, ceiling fans, wood louvred windows and French doors with built-in bug screens, which open onto the wraparound balcony.

Golf: Antigua's Cedar Valley Golf Course was designed and built by Ralph Aldridge, and opened in 1970 initially with 9 holes, and then in 1977 became Antigua's 18 hole Championship Golf Course.
The beautiful Par 70, and 6,157 yards golf course, lies amidst mature tropical trees, vistas on hills, and the Caribbean Sea, providing an enjoyable, inspiring and very challenging golf game.
