Waterfront home on Greers Ferry Lake in the scenic Arkansas Ozarks.
Very private home but not isolated.
Home is located 4 miles east of the town of Greers Ferry. located 3.5 miles off hwy 92 on the south shore of the Devils Fork of the Little Red River. It is also 2 miles due east of Hill Creek marina as the crow flies.
Fantastic waterfront home for family vacation or just a special vacation for couples or friends.
Located on Greers Ferry Lake at the north, east section, you will enjoy the best water-skiing and fishing available.The home is located in an area of the lake called 'Barefoot Alley'. This is due to the smoothness of the water.This is also a very hot spot for fishing.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have a boat, WE ARE SORRY BUT THERE IS NO BOAT MOORAGE AVAILABLE AT THE PROPERTY. We recommend Hill Creek Marina which is located a quick 7 miles away by land and 1 1/2 miles by water.Their phone # is 870-948-2230.
If you are wanting to rent boats, we recommend Laceys Marina which is a very nice facility located about 8 miles away.

The lake is 42 miles long with 40,000 acres of pristine water and 300 miles of shoreline. Great golf courses are just a short drive away.
Upon walking through the front door, you are captivated by the lake view from almost every room. Lots of windows, lots of light, yet extremely private. A large deck, perfect for outdoor cooking, entertaining, or lounging are just outside your back door. The home has a large screened in deck, perfect for watching sunsets, relaxing, or watching the critters go by.
King bed in master,main floor, 2 full size in large upstairs bedroom, queen bed in second large upstairs bedroom. Lovely daybed upstairs between bedrooms.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a bit of a climb going up and down to the water. At the top of the stone stairway to the bottom the distance is approx 100 ft. There is a rope handle going down the length of the stairs.
The road to the property is narrow and steep in places.
MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD TO RENT/ NO SMOKING IN HOME
RESERVATION AND BOOKING POLICY
A reservation/damage deposit of $500.00 is required. This must be received within seven(7) days of booking the reservation. The deposit automaticaly converts to a security/damage deposit upon your arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within 14 days of departure, provided you have followed the homes rental rules and regulations(copy sent upon booking)
PAYMENT-An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required 30 days before arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the house rent. Please make payments in the form of traveler's check, bank money order, cashier check, or personal check payable to Patricia Hayden. You may also request us to send you an invoice via email using our paypal account.
By using this method you can use credit cards. You do not have to be a paypal member to use this service.The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due fourteen(14)days before arrival date.
CANCELLATIONS: A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation.30 day cancellations will incur no penalty. Cancellation or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made 15 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.

We had a wonderful time at your lake house! We have been to Greer's Ferry a few times before but have never felt more relaxed or comfortable as we did at Hayden's Hideaway. Thanks for your assistance in trying to get the Tennessee game as well as for the extra touches such as the note and fruit basket. We had a wonderful time! The house was so charming and perfect for our family. I sure hated to leave that screened-in porch, even though it was hotter than all-get-out last weekend! Hi Patricia, We had an absolutely wonderful time in your cabin this weekend. Such a cozy home with beautiful surroundings! Thank you for allowing us to stay there. Unfortunately, about 2 hours down the road after leaving the cabin this morning we realized we left a few things in the fridge. Not only were we bummed to forget and leave those items behind, but hope it didn't cause you or someone helping you clean up any inconvenience. Nice secluded cabin. Well stocked with towels, dishes, etc. Wonderful screened in patio with lots of chairs. It fit 8 adults comfortably. We were told no one had stayed here in awhile which I guess is the reason that the outside had a lot of spider webs everywhere. I wish they had emailed us the rules and cleanup check list prior to our arriving at the cabin. We had to strip beds and do laundry and dishes before we left. As well as clean the grill and take out the trash. Also the water comes from a well and was very stinky. And they suggest you bring bottled water to drink which would have been nice to know before arriving at the cabin. There is a pathway down to the lake but the only beach area for swimming is occupied by a boat dock that renters are not allowed to touch. That was a bit of an inconvenience.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Hi Patricia not great at technical things, could mess this up but going to give it a try loved the cabin! Patricia, Your lake home is lovely and we had a wonderful and relaxing time. My niece and nephew would like to return next summer:-) They loved staying in the woods and enjoyed having the upstairs to themselves. About the owner: We are Mike and Patricia Hayden from Woodinville, Washington. Our living is made by owning and operating an auto repair shop at our home. We have been in the auto repair business for over 15 years. While on a much needed vacation, we met some people from Greers Ferry AR. They convinced us to come to their beautiful area and take a look. Well we did and fell in love.
Why the Owner Chose Greers Ferry:
We choose to buy in Greers Ferry Arkansas while visiting the state. We absolutly fell in love with the area and the people. This will be our retirement location in about 8 years.
The only way we could afford to own two homes was to turn this home into a vacation rental.
We love being able to share it with other families.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
One of the reasons we love going to the home is the privacy. You feel like you have your own little piece of paradise. With the water being close by, we spend most of the days on the water. Our area is called Barefoot Alley becuase of the mirror like flat water.
This area of the lake is the prettiest with all it's trees and rock formations.
