Contemporary, Mid-Coast, lakefront home perfect for the family retreat. Located just five minutes from Damariscotta Village which has many interesting shops, galleries, and restaurants.
The home has a vaulted ceiling with a large dining room and living room combination with gas fireplace. The walkout den has a small bar area and the room is finished in native pine. There is a media center in this room for the youngsters which allows for quite gatherings on the first floor. The bedrooms have new queen-size mattresses and linens are provided with the rental.
The large lakeside yard has a brick fireplace for the pioneer who likes building his own fire. There is also a gas grill for those cooks who like a controlled flame. The Water front does have a nice dock and float. We do provide a two-person kayak and a canoe for our guest. There is a very nice sand beach for the kids to play in on the waterfront. The lakeside yard also sports a small retreat cottage, which is a fun spot for summer privacy away from the great-great grandmothers or the kids. |
