You have found your perfect beach house here, in "Golden Boy"--this new, three-story beach house. Beautifully designed and professionally decorated to add to your vacationing pleasure.
Sitting at the south end of a gulf view cul-de-sac, convenient to both the beach and the pool (50 yards from the beach, 25 yards from the large community pool) in the family community of Summer's Edge. Overlooking a one-story cottage, "Golden Boy" allows unobstructed views of the white, sandy beach and the waves rolling ashore. You will be thrilled when you reach the top floor: spacious great room--running the whole width of the house--with its vaulted ceiling, fireplace and wrap-around windows to take advantage of the breathtaking views. An adjoining dining room, plus an upscale kitchen with raised breakfast bar and central island makes this a great area for entertaining and for family gatherings.
A private master suite with adjoining bath is also located on this top floor. A second master suite with private bath, two guest rooms and a cozy family room (use as fifth bedroom, if needed) with a sofa sleeper and built-in bunks are located on the second floor. Screened porch off family room and deep porches off both ends of the third floor great room extends the living area and provides the perfect spots for enjoying the views, the fragrant breezes and sounds of the surf.
Convenient to area shops and restaurants in Seagrove, Seaside and WaterColor. Parking for two to three cars(including two-car garage).

We stayed in Golden Boy September 10 - 17. Wow - what a great house. We didn't book through VRBO but I thought that people should know what a nice place this was. The house is spacious and has terrific views. The kitchen was adequately stocked with the things you need to cook and it was a pleasure to work in. The pool is fantastic (we only used the infinity edged pool) and the beach is super close. Each of us had our own bedroom and everyone was very happy with their accomodations. Since we were there at the end of the season the house showed some serious usage - lots of scuff marks everywhere, one TV didn't work, the headboard in one bedroom constantly bumped against the wall behind it, the couches in the living room were kind of beat. Having said that, I would not hesitate to rent this house again. As a renter, I have alot of respect for the owners property and we strived to make our visit low impact and were thoughtful in our use of the house.

We have stayed in several properties in Summer's Edge and this was our favorite! As you sit in your living room, you can see the waves rush in! Ample space with great decor.....just a lovely place.......want to come back!

my family and three others rented this house for a week this summer and we simply loved it. the rooms and bathrooms are large and the den and kitchen were perfect for the amount of people we had. it was also surprisingly close to the beach and pool. we had a great time and i would recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in seaside.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
