We spent the month of Sept here so we could babysit a new grandchild. This house was perfect. We enjoyed our month so much we hope to make it an annual thing. We loved the homey feeling the house gave us. Liked the separate den/office. The location was great...we could walk to downtown, Safeway, or the heights area. Thursday market (school lot) a block away was a treat every week. Especially liked the quietness of the neighborhood and the fact that the back yard was completely private...roses were a beautiful plus! Owners have done a great job making this a home away from home!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, pet owners, families with young children.

We had a wonderful 7 weeks at this Hood River vacation home. We loved the location and the layout of the house. The dog friendly backyard was perfect and the games room was a hit with the kids. The house had a fabulous climate control system, the house was immaculate and the owners were great to deal with. We would definately rent this home again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, pet owners, families with young children.

We had an excellent long weekend in Hood River thanks to the accomodations provided here. It was exactly as we expected, clean, very comfortable and within walking distance of downtown but quiet as a small neighborhood should be. The owners were very professional and very responsive to our questions and needs. Highly recommend this property.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

What a lovely place to stay. We really enjoyed our time here. The kitchen is so beautifully equipped, the beds were comfortable and the backyard was lovely. nice to have the air conditioning too as the temperature soared to 95 but our sleeps were very comfortable. We would definately come back - the kids loved the games room.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This was our first experience renting a home for vacation and we are hooked!! WONDERFUL, clean, quiet home which had more amenities than we had imagined. Our miniature dachshund, Willie, loved the grassy, fenced yard and his "parents" loved everything - in particular the cozy "office" space with desk and easy internet connection. This was a perfect home for our 40th anniversary vacation!Did you find this review helpful? We had a fabulous week in Hood River over the 4th of July. This house is great for families since the 4th of July Parade is just a couple blocks away. We enjoyed the aquatic center too. We attended a wedding at the Columbia Gorge Hotel and this is a great location just in the middle of the hotel and "downtown" Hood River. The home is clean and very comfortable with all of the amenities of home. Highly recommend!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
