  This was one of the best beach homes we have stayed. The views were fantastic and the owners were wonderful and accommodating. We loved this place and hope to visit again some day!!!

  This house was perfect for our family vacation with friends. We received visits from the wild horses every morning. Sunset was spent in the hot tub with a glass of wine. The house has a very well equipped kitchen. There are books to read, board and video games to play,dvd's to watch and even a john boat to use off the dock. We were a short walk to the main beach which was beautiful and the owners even thought to provide beach chairs, umbrellas, kites, you name it they seem to have had it! On our arrival we even received a call from the owner just to make sure that we had everything we needed. They were wonderful to work with. We would definitly book here again and look forward to coming back.

  It was our second year in the row at Beautiful Inn Sea Sun. The house is well equipped, clean, maintained and perfectly located with lots of exciting things to do for us, for our kids and even for our dog! Our friends enjoyed it as well. Brian and Susan are very helpful and accommodating owners. We really like the place and we will be going again next year.

  We can't thank Brian and Susan enough for sharing their home with us. My husband and I are care givers for our elderly parents and this vacation respite was just what we needed to rest, relax and recharge from all of the demands on us as caregivers. We absolutely love the floor plan with the entire living area and the master bedroom all on the upper level. We also especially appreciate that the property is pet friendly! The listing description and photos accurately reflect the location, appearance and amenities. The property is clean and well kept. We will definitely recommend this property!

  I can't say enough wonderful things about our corova vacation in this perfectly located spacious home! The house has a hottub on the second level deck with a fabulous view of a canal, swimming horses and egrets, and other water birds. The house was stocked with amenities such as paper towel, beach chairs, condiments and even flour! Each bedroom has sliding glass doors opening to a deck view of the canal and surrounding live oaks. If you like the beauty of nature this is the place for you. We took daily morning and evening walks as the area surrounding the house is so beautiful. We took so many pictures of the horses as they escorted us home or visited us by the house or on their way to the canal. Everyone loved the spacious home, relaxing atmosphere, hammock, chair swing, hottub(you dont need a pool!), and of course the most beautiful beach on the east coast! We were happy to see a second fridge on the screen porch and used the grill everyday, often eating on the upper deck. Everyone loved it including grandma. We all have Corova fever and plan on returning. Thanks to the homeowners for letting us stay in your awesome home.

  First of all, the house itself is awesome. The floor plan is perfect for the whole family hanging out together, or grabbing some peace and quiet if that's what you desire. The kitchen is very well equipped, and we shared many fine meals at the large dining table. Our three families are scattered all over the map, and this place really brought us all together for a week. The other ammeneties ( hot tub, laundry, screen porch, movie library, porch swing, hammock ) were great as well. Second is the location. We loved it. We saw wildlife galore! Wild horses every day! (usually right on or near the property) Other sightings were fox, fish,crabs,many species of birds, etc. The beaches near there were never crowded. It's very quiet at night , and when the sky is clear you can see all the stars. Third is the drive to get there. It was an adventure for us! It does take a little more planning as far as trips to the grocery because you're a good 30 min. from town, but we enjoyed beach driving. There's lots of sights to see along the beach as you go. We saw some people who got stuck, but I suspect that they didnt do their homework on beach driving. We rented a Chevy Tahoe for the week and did great. (we were first timers to beach driving) Thanks Brian & Susan for sharing you beautiful home with us!!!

  Just returned from our week in your house and have to say it was incredible!!! The house was perfect and in a great location. We have stayed in Carova before but this has to be the best house we have stayed in. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed, we used the gas grill on one occasion and cooked in the kitchen on the other days. The view from the deck was great. The horses came by everyday we were there...one morning greating us at the front door as we were getting breakfast ready. The hot tub was very relaxing after a day of driving around the area visiting both national and state parks in the area. I can't say enough to both Brian and Susan for sharing their home with us. It was a very good and relaxing time and could not have asked for anything more....oh yeah the fireplace was very nice since we did have a couple of cold nights there. Thanks again for everything. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice place to get away from it all.

  We cannot say enough about how wonderful our vacations have been while staying at your home in Carova. This was our second stay at Inn Sea Sun and we are already planning our return trip for next year. The house location is perfect for our family. We enjoy being a little farther up the beach. I am always a little concerned with the traffic on the beach since we have small children, but we just hope in the truck and take a short drive up to the fence at the NC/VA border and let the kids play there where there aren't any moving vehicles. The horses visited every day and we even saw some deer run through the yard. Having the canal right there is perfect! We brought a couple of kayaks as well as used the boats that are there at the house. The house is stocked with everything we could want or need - everything from sheets to sandwich baggies, baby gates to beach umbrellas... Our family also loves the layout of the house. The main living area is on the top floor. It is a large open area with lots of room for everyone to be together yet still doing their own thing. Thank you Brian and Susan for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful beach home!! We'll be back for sure!!

  01/11/2010 Our family spent Christmas and New Years at the beach house and it was a perfect getaway. Reasonably out of the way but only 15 minutes from groceries, restaurants, etc. Brian and Susan were most helpful and considerate in ensuring that we had a great vacation. We are a family of six and the children range from 18 to 24. What makes this home perfect for us was the great room on the top level. We could each be doing something different (watch a movie, surf the net, do a jigsaw puzzle, read a book and cook) all at the same time but be together. The horses visited almost everyday and after a couple of weeks you get to know each of the families. Only a three to five minute walk to the beach for a stroll. The home was in immaculate condition and had everything we needed to make a memorable vacation....in fact we found out that our daughter had become engaged while on the deck overlooking the canal!! Thanks once again.

  Susan & Brian, we thank you for a great Carova Beach experience. The house was in great shape, absolutely accommodating in every way and very well stocked. We found everything we needed to have a great week from entertainment to kitchen to outdoor gear. We really enjoyed the remote location and wild horses as well. This is now one of our family’s cherished memories of Thanksgiving. You both were a pleasure to work with and your attention to detail and willingness to be sure all was perfect was much appreciated.
