This condo is perfect for the couple that want to get away from the the rush of everyday world and enjoy each other and nature. Pull a bottle of wine off of the rack and enjoy it on the deck or the harbor view room or in the living room sitting on the leather sofa watching a movie and enjoying the faux firplace. Come Sail Away Condo, as the name suggests this is the center for the boating couple. The 30 foot deep water dock that is available is at the door and only 20 feet from the Condo deck. When you boat out of the canal you will be looking at one of the most fantastic boating areas on Lake Erie. Put-In-Bay and Kelly's Island is only a few minutes away and offers unlimited opportunities for adventure. Cedar point will also be on your must see list and easily accessible by boat or car. A boat ramp is three minutes away so you can start your adventure in complete safety and quickly once you arrive. The dock is available at no extra fee with weekly rental or monthly rental.
If you do not have a boat you will still enjoy sitting on the deck looking at the marina and all of the activities that are going on around you.
Catawba Island offers many activities that the family will enjoy from the shopping to the petting zoo. There is also a brand new visitor's center that should be the start of your adventure to see what activities that your family would enjoy.
If you want to go to the islands by ferry it is a five minutes car ride to the dock that will take you to Put-in-Bay. This area is a great place to plan your next vacation and this Condo a wonderful place to be located. You will enjoy the morning sunrise in the sun room or on the deck. You will love the swimming pool from the closest Condo in the complex. The pool includes a baby pool and a hot tub.
The living room has been updated with a leather sofa and love seat sofa . The kitchen and dinning area has had a complet make over and this is one of the nicest unit s in the complex... Dining room has seating for six adults, plus twofour bar stools at the kitchen bar. You will love the condition of our condo, it has just had a complete remodel with new kitchen, bath and most flooring.
West Harbor is the number one spot to be on the lake. As you leave the harbor you will be looking at South Bass Island where Put in Bay is located or if you look slightly to the right you will be looking at Kelly's Island.
If you like to eat out you could be at Mon Ami Winery in 2 minutes. This is one that you have to try, it is my favorite.
This is an executive community, not a crowded and noisy sleep as many people as you can type of place. You can enjoy your time and relax as much as you want.

- Deck/Patio : Fantastic view down the canal and West Harbor. Very peaceful and covered so that rain nor sun is not a problem.

- Waterfront, not Lake/Oceanfront. Ask for details : West Harbor is the most popular place on the lake and for good reason. Within minutes you will be headed to the islands or going to one of the hotest areas for fishing for walleye or perch.

- WiFi (Wireless Internet) : Wi Fi is avaiable with Coastal Wave by the day, week or month.
- Other Amenities
- The Boat dock is immediately outside the door and deck. It is deep water, most of the boats are 30 foot cruisers. Some rentals have docks available, but few have it within 8 steps of your deck. West Harbor is the number one place to have your boat in lake erie because of the the closeness to the islands and excellent fishing. Pubic boat ramp is half mile away on West Harbor, so you do not have to be in the main lake to launch your boat, best part it is free.

We recently spent five nights at the condo. It is beautiful and very conveniently located. The condo "neighborhood" is very quiet; especially during the week. Although the condo has only one bedroom, it and the living area are very large. The boat dock is steps from the door and is easy to navigate from the boat launch, located less than a mile away. After a 25 minute boat ride through West Harbor, upon entering Lake Erie, Kelley's Island and Put-In-Bay are immediatley visible, making boating, fishing or a visit to the islands very accessible. In the evening, we took a drive through Catawba and Marblehead; the scenery is beautiful. Dinner at MonAmi is not to be missed. They have Happy Hour during the week with delicious free appetizers, and the seafood buffet on Saturday night was incredible. Be prepared to wait-it was very crowded, but worth the wait. The condo owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this condo and location, and are already making plans to return next year.
