We stayed in Koeienstal unit together with our friends, 5 adults and 1 child in total. The farm house is very spacious and clean. Black-colored stone floor and walls was a bit of depressing but it could be because of cold and cloudy weather outside. I am sure that in hot and sunny summer time it would appeal to its guests as it could make them feel cooler. All necessary utensils were provided, so that we could once cook a dinner here. Paul, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful. We are very grateful for his advice regarding interesting places to visit. Moreover, we were provided with six free museum cards which give free access to the main museusms in Amsterdam. The farm house has a very convenient location for exploring the country. If you go to Amsterdam, you may leave a car at Park&Ride which is 5-7 minutes to drive. It costs 8 euro per day and you will get 5 free transport tickets to go to the city center and back by metro, which is located 5 min walk from the parking place. If you decide to travel around small towns and villages it is the best place to do one-day trips from. Unser Aufenthalt zu dritt (2 Erw., 1 Jugendlicher) liegt schon ein paar Monate zurück, aber wir erinnern uns immer noch sehr gern! Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig etwa 10 km außerhalb des Zentrums von Amsterdam. Die Stadt ist schnell erreicht: Der nächste P & R - Parkplatz ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Die unmittelbare Umgebung (das Haus liegt direkt am Kanal) hat uns dazu verführt, an einigen Tagen gar nicht nach Amsterdam hineinzufahren. Das benachbarte Städtchen Weesp bietet ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Haus entspricht vollständig der Beschreibung und den Fotos, ist geräumig und von der Einrichtung her ebenso modern wie gemütlich. Küchenausstattung hervorragend. Alle Geräte funktionierten bestens, inkl. des riesigen Flatscreen-TVs mit Empfang vieler deutscher Sender und kostenlosem WLan. Hygienisch war das Haus in Top-Zustand. Heißwasserversorgung im Bad überhaupt kein Problem. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Der zweite Schlafraum ist für drei Betten sehr klein; dort ließ sich das Fenster nicht öffnen. Melanie und Paul waren sehr gastfreundliche, stets hilfsbereite und vollkommen unkomplizierte Gastgeber. Ganz ehrlich: Für unseren nächsten Urlaub in den Niederlanden ist dieses Haus allererste Wahl und wird von uns wärmstens empfohlen.Owner response: Viele Dank für Ihre Bewertung. Paul und Melanie

Wir waren zu viert (inkl. 2 Kindern) für 3 Nächte im Ferienhaus. Unser Hauptziel war eigentlich Amsterdam, aber die Wahl auf eine Wohnung etwas außerhalb war goldrichtig. Man kann von einem wenige Kilometer entfernten P+R Parkplatz für nur 8 Euro nach Amsterdam reinfahren (Preis fürs Parken plus S-Bahn für bis zu 5 Personen hin- und zurück !!!). Auch kommt man gut nach ZaanseSchans oder an die Nordsee. Das Ferienhaus gehört zu einem ehemaligen Bauernhof und ist eigentlich ein umgebauter Kuhstall (keine Angst, davon merkt man nichts mehr). Einiges wirkt noch ein bisschen improvisiert, die Wohnung ist aber vollständig möbliert und das Wohnzimmer ist wirklich riesig. Dafür sind die beiden Schlafzimmer etwas klein und nur über die auf den Bildern erkennbare Wendeltreppe zu erreichen (einem älteren Ehepaar würde ich daher eher abraten); die Kinder fanden es toll. Die Vermieter sind auch super nett und haben sehr zum positiven Eindruck beigetragen. Insgesamt empfehlenswert.Owner response: jetzt haben wir satelit TV mit viele Deutsche Sender

nous avons passé une très bonne semaine! le métro d'Amsterdam à 5 mn de la maison, au bord d'un canal ! Les conseils ont été judicieux et bien compris car le français est parlé par le maître des lieux! L'appartement est conforme aux photos! Le lit king size et le sauna privé à coté de la douche sont un plus très agréable. La carte musée remise permet de ne pas avoir de soucis .
