Home built as retreat/getaway with 35 foot walls of glass overlooking Chequemagon Bay of Lake Superior. Great room has stone fireplace, Dining Room seats 12. Large gourmet kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, granite counters, Jenn Air Grill, Ice Maker and upscale dinnerware for "dinner in" or catered by locals.
Four large private suite-bedrooms each have private bath and sitting room area overlooking lake. Master Bedroom has meditation room, spa bath and private screen porch. Retreat sleeps 12 comfortably and 16 using loft and media room.
Large deck seats 10-12 for dining and entertaining, overlooking sandy beach of Lake Superior's famous Chequemegon Bay.

Why the Owner Chose Bayfield
Lake Superior is unlike any other lake in it's size and interesting places to boat. We usually go to the Apostle Islands but have plans to visit other areas. Our place in particular on a quiet bay allows us to swim, boat and relax on the level sandy beach. Our home is more than one could ask for in an elegant and relaxing place to stay.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Serenity is the best way to describe the Retreat. However, there are dozens of places to go and things to do. We have a level sandy beach with shallow water perfect for little ones to swim while you can keep a watchful eye. The Firepit on the beach is another outstanding feature as is the Sunup over the bay, pink, orange, red. Shopping and sites are nearby.

Marie and Garry Everson have lived on Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota for 25 years. We discovered Lake Superior several years ago and kept a boat at Washburn Marine. We found he perfect lot right on the beach and decided to build a Retreat so our family and other families can enjoy this special place. The level sandy beach 70' from the deck is perfect for children to swim and play on the beach. In the winter, the snowmobile trail starts at the end of our driveway and leads to miles of trail to the Valhalla Valley, a true winter wonderland. Other winter activities are fishing, Cx Country skiing, hiking, ice races, Sea caves (winter & summer) at the Apostle Islands, dog sledding and more.
