A real gem in the seventh area. This apartment has two large bedrooms, two bath, and two toilets. It has been completely renovated by June 2006. Brand new bathrooms and kitchen, new painting and new furnishings. Completely new!
Located in the seventh arrondissement, just a three minute walk to Rue Cler open market and a ten minute walk to the Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. You are also within a few steps to the famous shopping street 'Rue St Dominique.'
You are located in the center of Paris, within one minute walk to shopping, food, restaurants, cafes and the real Paris atmosphere.
The apartment is located in an upscale building on the third french floor facing a peaceful courtyard with EIFFEL TOWER view!
The apartment is full of light, and gets sun all day long. The apartment is very quiet although located right near the famous Rue Cler Market street, where you will find butchers, bakeries, fruit stores, and great restaurants.
AN APARTMENT REMODELED FOR COMFORT:
In 2006 the apartment is being totally renovated and decorated.
The apartment is in a 18th century building and has already lots of character (typical wood floors, beams, moldings etc.)
The first master bedroom has a king-size bed and a desk with PC hooked up to the internet. The room is decorated with contemporary furniture which match perfectly the ancient feel of the apartment. En-suite of that bedroom is an entirely new bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet. The second bedroom has twin beds for independent sleeping, but they can be put together to make a king-size bed as well. Next to it and off the entrance is the second bathroom with bathtub, shower and toilet. (The apartment has two toilets).
In the living room are two sofas, one of which being being convertible and allowing for two more guests to sleep comfortably.
In the living room is a dining table for up to six guests, and you will also find the 42' Plasma TV with many cable Channels (plus DVD Player).
In front of the living room is the separate kitchen with a small eating area. It has a nice size and has a washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, burners, multi-function oven with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and boiler.
The apartment also offers unique features like a telephone line with unlimited calls to the United States, a PC with a DSL line, air conditioning in all the rooms, large flat TV screen.
The #69 bus recommended in guidebooks is 1/2 a block away, convenient to many sights -- we usually didn't bother with the Metro! The #80 to Champs Elysee and Montmartre, #63 to the Marmottan, and the Pont D'Alma RER C station to Versailles or Notre Dame are also convenient.

This apartment is in the best location in Paris! Everything is in walking distance and you literally are around the block from numerous cafes, the famous market street Rue Cler, grocery stores, banks, delicious bakeries, and Starbucks too! It's 10 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower and 10 minutes walk to Musee d'Orsay or Les Invalides...you are smack in the middle of all the good stuff. Our family of four stayed for a week, and we have only good things to say. Pascal and his staff were professional and quick to respond from first contact, the apartment was clean and as pictured. It's a great combination of rustic yet modern. It is quiet and we always felt safe in the apartment and walking around the neighborhood. The peek-a-boo view of the Eiffel Tower is a treat too! It's on the 3rd floor and there is a windy staircase to climb, no elevator, so would not be appropriate for someone with disabilities. Rent and enjoy the best of Paris. We can't wait to go back!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Our family of 5 stayed at the apartment in Rue Malar (3rd floor) during August. We had a fantastic stay. The apartment is well set up with everything you could need. Lovely view of the Eiffel tower out of the master bedroom. Located in lovely area with supermarkets, patisseries and market close by. About 10mins walk from the Eiffel tower, so very handy location. Metro about 5 mins away. We were met at the apartment and shown around, given some ideas for sightseeing and told about were the local markets etc are. Very helpful. We were even accommodated with a late checkout. Would definitely recommend this property and all dealings were friendly, and helpful.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.

The location of Pascal's apt. Is perfect... Half a block away from Rue St. Dominique, one block from Rue Cler (Rick Steve's favorite), 4 blocks from the Eiffel Tower, 2 blocks from the Seine... What more could anyone want. The metro was just at the end of Rue Cler and a taxi stand was about 3 blocks away. There are so many cafes nearby to choose from. We stayed for 2 weeks and ate at a different one each night. 2 food markets are close by so we could pick up all the little items we needed. The quiet neighborhood was very much appreciated after a hectic day in a crowded museum. We loved turning the corner on Rue Malar. Felt like we were coming home. Pascal was very responsive in fixing a burned out light in the stairway. He was there within 15 minutes of my email to him. He also arranged airport transfers for us and kept us informed whe one family member's plane was delayed. The drivers were most helpful in carrying the luggage to the apt. The kitchen was very well equIped. Having a washer and dryer was a real bonus since we were there 2 weeks. The washer is like an American one not like a European one. The apt was clean and beautifully redone. Beds were comfy. Pillows, not so great! Lots of towels! Lots of hot water! This trip was a year in the planning to have our family join us in Paris and it couldn't have been better. Our kids said many times how great it was to have such a nice apt to come back to each evening. I got rave reviews fir my pick on VRBO. This was my "bucket list" trip to have my grand kids experience Paris with us and it worked out beautifully due in part to Pascal's Paris apartment.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.

Pascal was an absolute pleasure to work with! Always quick to respond to any question and assisted with several dinner reservations prior to our arrival. The flat is charming and exactly as described. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the master bedroom is a glorious way to start and end the day. We were just a short walk to La Tour-Maubourg metro as well as bus stops and several velib stations are also all within easy access. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials one would need and with the famous rue Cler market just 2 blocks away, it was a treat to keep the refrigerator stocked with the essential Paris holiday necessities: cheese, pâté and wine! We were 2 adults for one week and 4 adults for the second week and were extremely comfortable. The flat has a large water tank and we never ran out of hot water even after 4 morning showers and running the dishwasher. Don't miss out on dining right across the street from the flat at L'Ami Jean! The dinner is worth every euro! Our favorite morning cafe became Le Recrutement on the corner of Saint Dominique and Boulevard La Tour Maubourg and it was also a great place to have a nightcap after a splendid evening out and about. I would highly recommend this flat to anyone looking for a 2 bedroom / 2 bath unit and I would most certainly contact Pascal again for my next Paris short term vacation rental.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.
Owner response: Thanks so much for your kindness and for staying here Robert. It is great to have tenants as nice as you and hope to be able to extend the courtesy again soon.

My daughter, best friend and myself shared this delightful apartment recently during a week's stay in Paris. The apartment is extremely well equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay including a view of the Eiffel Tower twinkling in the distance. It was close to the Metro, shopping, restaurants and we couldn't have asked for anything more. This was our 2nd trip to Paris, but our first VRBO apartment rental experience and we've been spoiled by all the space and amenities of this apartment compared to a hotel room. We enjoyed our stay immensely thanks to the helpfulness and kindness of the owner, Pascal.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.

The apartment was exactly as shown on the VRBO web site. It was neat, clean, convenient and just what we needed for our 9 day stay in Paris. Having two bathrooms for two couples was a good choice. We loved Rue Dominique for its convenience and good shopping and it was just up the street from the apartment!! Looking out at the Eiffel Tower from our bedroom window was just fantastic. We would definitely stay at this apartment again in the future.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.

There were 4 of us (all girls) stayed at Pascal's apt. 2 bdrm/2 bath was the perfect size. A friend of ours who lives in Paris confirmed that the price Pascal charged was excellent especially for the location. We had great view of the Eiffel Tower & the light show every night. Convenient access to most major attractions. VERY quiet neighborhood. Hard to believe it's in the middle of busy District 7. I'm a suburb girl but felt totally safe to walk on the street in this neighborhood at night. Definitely dine at the Truffle restaurant down the street and be sure to order their macaroon dessert too - I think it's better than Ladurée's. Restaurant right across the street is supposed to be very good too but it's closed on Monday's, so we couldn't fit it into our schedule. Just a few things to note: bathroom in master's bedroom is quite small & narrow and may be inconvenient to have 2 people using it at the same time. Apt is on 3rd floor and we didn't find any elevator, so it might not be suitable for elderly or people with certain disability.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We shared this apartment with another couple for a week. The size and configuration of the apartment was more than adequate for all of us. The amenities were as described. The neighborhood was perfect and included several wonderful, nearby bakeries, grocery stores and great cafes and restaurants. The Metro and many attractions were within walking range. Pascal was very easy to work with, trustworthy and reliable.Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.

Stayed for a week in October 2010 and had a great experience overall. The apartment was well furnished, very clean, and in a great neighborhood. There were 4 adults in our group and the space was comfortable and accomodating. Location provided an easy walk to many attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Pascal was a gracious host -- organized, punctual, responsive, and very helpful with ideas, maps, taxis, etc. I look forward to returning to Paris and would definitely rent this apartment again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
