Pascal was an absolute pleasure to work with! Always quick to respond to any question and assisted with several dinner reservations prior to our arrival. The flat is charming and exactly as described. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the master bedroom is a glorious way to start and end the day. We were just a short walk to La Tour-Maubourg metro as well as bus stops and several velib stations are also all within easy access. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials one would need and with the famous rue Cler market just 2 blocks away, it was a treat to keep the refrigerator stocked with the essential Paris holiday necessities: cheese, pâté and wine! We were 2 adults for one week and 4 adults for the second week and were extremely comfortable. The flat has a large water tank and we never ran out of hot water even after 4 morning showers and running the dishwasher. Don't miss out on dining right across the street from the flat at L'Ami Jean! The dinner is worth every euro! Our favorite morning cafe became Le Recrutement on the corner of Saint Dominique and Boulevard La Tour Maubourg and it was also a great place to have a nightcap after a splendid evening out and about. I would highly recommend this flat to anyone looking for a 2 bedroom / 2 bath unit and I would most certainly contact Pascal again for my next Paris short term vacation rental.

My daughter,best friend and myself shared this delightful apartment recently during a week's stay in Paris. The apartment is extremely well equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay including a view of the Eiffel Tower twinkling in the distance. It was close to the Metro, shopping, restaurants and we couldn't have asked for anything more. This was our 2nd trip to Paris, but our first VRBO apartment rental experience and we've been spoiled by all the space and amenities of this apartment compared to a hotel room. We enjoyed our stay immensely thanks to the helpfulness and kindness of the owner, Pascal.

The apartment was exactly as shown on the VRBO web site. It was neat, clean, convenient and just what we needed for our 9 day stay in Paris. Having two bathrooms for two couples was a good choice. We loved Rue Dominique for its convenience and good shopping and it was just up the street from the apartment!! Looking out at the Eiffel Tower from our bedroom window was just fantastic. We would definitely stay at this apartment again in the future.

Comfortable and affordable stay

There were 4 of us (all girls) stayed at Pascal's apt. 2 bdrm/2 bath was the perfect size. A friend of ours who lives in Paris confirmed that the price Pascal charged was excellent especially for the location. We had great view of the Eiffel Tower & the light show every night. Convenient access to most major attractions. VERY quiet neighborhood. Hard to believe it's in the middle of busy District 7. I'm a suburb girl but felt totally safe to walk on the street in this neighborhood at night. Definitely dine at the Truffle restaurant down the street and be sure to order their macaroon dessert too - I think it's better than Ladurée's. Restaurant right across the street is supposed to be very good too but it's closed on Monday's, so we couldn't fit it into our schedule. Just a few things to note: bathroom in master's bedroom is quite small & narrow and may be inconvenient to have 2 people using it at the same time. Apt is on 3rd floor and we didn't find any elevator, so it might not be suitable for elderly or people with certain disability.

We shared this apartment with another couple for a week. The size and configuration of the apartment was more than adequate for all of us. The amenities were as described. The neighborhood was perfect and included several wonderful, nearby bakeries, grocery stores and great cafes and restaurants. The Metro and many attractions were within walking range. Pascal was very easy to work with, trustworthy and reliable.

Wonderful "home base" in Paris

Stayed for a week in October 2010 and had a great experience overall. The apartment was well furnished, very clean, and in a great neighborhood. There were 4 adults in our group and the space was comfortable and accomodating. Location provided an easy walk to many attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Pascal was a gracious host -- organized, punctual, responsive, and very helpful with ideas, maps, taxis, etc. I look forward to returning to Paris and would definitely rent this apartment again.

The apartment was centrally located, but out of the busy tourist streets. Plenty of shops, cafe's and restaurants nearby. Close to Metro stop and 2 blocks from River Seine. Washer and dryer were a big plus. Pascal had a car waiting for us at the airport and it was super convenient and stress free. Regis met us at the apartment, explained everything to us and even gave us local tips for restaurants and sites. In all, it was all that we expected and more. Would definitely use Pascal again.

The apartment was found to be excellent in presentation and position. You within walking distance of most tourist attractions as well as close to the metro. The apartment was found to be very comfortable with all the required modern conveniences and appliances. Being in the 7th District there are many and varied restaurants for your convenience, markets and supermarkets are close by and handy. The management happened to meet us early and explained all that is necessary to use the apartment and support during our stay was exceptional.A view of the Eiffel Tower form you window adds to the impetus of the place. This changes colour during the day and the light show after dark is amazing. You can visit the West Bank art shows, the Louvre, Notre Dame, Musee Orsay, The Impressionist museum which is located in a converted railway station and so well done. The river cruises are at the end of the street. Shopping is close by from the top up market areas of St Germain. It is a little longer to walk to the Champs Elysee but well worth the effort. If you see this apartment advertised and agree with the price I suggest you take it as I do not think you will get much better. Ideal for 2 x couples or a family of four.

I highly recommend this great apartment on Rue Malar. It had so many wonderful features. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and had everything you could need....It felt like home. The location of the apartment was a big plus, as it was in walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, Seine, etc. ( Loved the view of the Eiffel Tower from the bedroom window also ! ) The neighborhood was so much fun with great dinning and shopping nearby. This apartment really made our trip to Paris very special. Can't wait for a return trip.

Great location - so close to the Rue Market and we walked down there everyday for food, groceries, shopping. Really close to the Effiel Tower, Invalides, Louvre, Trocadora, Champs-Elyesse - all within walking distance. It was great to come home to a spacious, air-conditioned apartment after the hot days with everything you could possibly need. Pascal was very helpful and made renting very easy. We would definitely stay there again!!

The experience was something to write home about! Pascal took great care of me and and my girlfriends and showed us Paris from its best side. WE absolutely loved the apartment and from now on we will never use hotels! We are already entertaining the idea of returning to Pascal and have recommended his services to our friends already. This very apartment will treat you to the comfort of your own home and with its two bedrooms and bathrooms will provide perfect privacy to two traveling couples. My girlfriends and I just spent a most enjoyable 8 days in Paris and stayed at 12 Rue Malar. The apartment was neat, clean and cozy even though it was quite cold outside. One bedroom had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. We especially appreciated the two modern bathrooms with plenty of hot water. The location was perfect - close to a metro stop, shopping, restaurants, grocery store and morning pastry shops. Even at night we felt totally safe walking in this quaint neighborhood. We totally enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends.

Just returned yesterday from ten amazing days in Paris, at 12 Rue Malar. Pascal was helpful and kind at every turn. We needed three return cab trips to CDG and e-mailed Pascal during our stay for help. Excellent, prompt arrangements were made on our behalf (making these reservations over the phone in French just somehow doesn't feel quite reliable.) The apartment is well-equipped, clean and comfortable. All the beds and bedding are superb, including the pull-out couch. The apartment is clean. The neighborhood is convenient and well-located for touring. The view and/or stroll to the Eiffel Tower is great! The photos on the website of this apartment are well representative, except the shower-over-tub DOES have a shower curtain (not pictured). We were a party of six women. We were always comfortable and contented in this space. I highly recommend to anyone for a stay in Paris.

I just wanted to write and let you know how much we LOVED staying at your apartment on Rue Malar! It far exceeded our expectations and we spent many moments just watching out the windows at the Eiffel Tower or the lovely street below. (A glass of wine from downstairs, a chocolate from Michael Chaudun's on the corner and the Eiffel Tower out the bedroom window with it's twinkling lights is and incredible way to feel "Parisien"!) It was in a fabulous location and we got around there easily. Four women were more than comfortable in the apartment, and I can see how a family would also find it ideal. We absolutely would recommend this apartment (and have already done so to many people on the airplanes!), and can't wait to plan our next trip to Paris and reserve this one early!!!!

Our family of 4 spent a wonderful week in this apartment at the end of August. It was great to have so much space. Our teenaged kids appreciated the laptop with internet access, and my husband loved the large, flat screen tv. The apartment is very clean and well appointed. The location is excellent. We walked almost everywhere. The shops along Rue St Dominique were an unexpected pleasure. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent apartment and location! The recent renovations are nicely done, combining modern elements with the original construction. The washer and dryer proved invaluable after an unexpected thunderstorm on our last day. The location was generally quiet, and yet convenient. I'll miss the morning runs to Rue Cler for pastries and a baguette! The #69 bus recommended in guidebooks is 1/2 a block away, convenient to many sights -- we usually didn't bother with the Metro! The #80 to Champs Elysee and Montmartre, #63 to the Marmottan, and the Pont D'Alma RER C station to Versailles or Notre Dame are also convenient.

Great location. Great apartment. Spotless. Absolutely made our trip due to comfort, cleanliness and location. Many boulangerie's available to dash out for breakfast goods, then a full day of sightseeing. A great location for picking up goods for a dinner at the apartment, but also many excellent restaurants within a few blocks. Beds all very comfortable. Very safe neighborhood. This apartment must be seen to be believed as the pictures do not do it justice. It combines the best of old world charm but ALL the modern conveniences; its homey and spacious so we even hosted a dinner party there! The neighborhood is superb; safe and handy. Next to shops and the metro, a central location to get to all Paris easily. Several outstanding restuarants on Rue Malar and just steps from the American Church. We have rented several times from Rental France and their services, dependability and lovely comfortable apartments just seem to get better. The management is ever helpful and completely dependable.We give them and this flat in particular our highest recommendation. We will be back! Feel free to contact me for any questions.

12 Rue Malar was comfortable, clean and in a nice area. All the comforts of home can be found in the immediate neighborhood. There is access to metro, train and bus near by. The rental agency was very professional and pleasant. I give them high recommendations.

Our stay at 12 Malar was great! The apartment is beautifully done with all the comforts of home(incliding air conditioning). The view from the master bedroom is wonderful. We are planning to return in the future. This property is a dream.
