We held a large family reunion here in late July and the house was amazing. It surpassed all our expectations and as we ranged in ages from nearly 1 year to over 80, this was no small feat. We loved the space, the balconies, the pool , the many seating areas.... I could go on and on. The bar is a real novelty feature. It is great to have a computer right there connected to the internet. The toaster stopped working and one phone-call later it was promptly replaced. We had a truly wonderful time here and would really recommend it for a family reunion.

The weather was gray, cool, and mostly rainy, but the atmosphere of this great inn was perfect! The cozy sitting areas invited readers, and puzzle workers. The humongous kitchen was a delight to cook our lobster dinners in...and a new chowder recipe was also invented! What a great spot...so close to everything! The Botanical Gardens nearby are a definite "must see""! Everything at the inn was as the photos indicated or better. It was well cared for, and very homey!
