E Komo Mai! (Welcome!) Are you dreaming of your Hawaiian vacation? Stay at a 2bdrm/2bath, almost oceanfront (~60 ft from the shoreline), gorgeous & pristine, white tiled townhouse located in a four-star, gated, oceanfront complex on the Big Island of Hawaii. (Ironman Craig Alexander was a repeat guest and stayed here while playing 2nd and 1st in Kona Ironman.)
As our guest, you will know that you've found a heavenly piece of paradise as soon as you pull into our designated parking spot just 15 feet from front door. The bright tropical decor with beautiful white tiled floors will make you smile as you walk in and you'll anxiously check out the rest of unit and look forward to settling in and beginning the fun! After a fun filled day playing in the ocean, walking on the beach, strolling thru the lushly landscaped ground or relaxing by the pool you'll happily retire to your comfortable home away from home. Everything you'll need to enjoy your vacation is in the unit and maintained in perfect shape for your comfort. And, when you finally decide to rest your eyse you'll do so with the sound of surf to gently soothe you to sleep. In the morning the birds will serenade you to begin another wonderful day in paradise.
And, you will enjoy some ocean views from within the unit or while relaxing on your lanai. Did we mention that the pool is only 60 feet away from the unit? All you have to do is walk around the sacred heiau which is our 'backyard' and there's the pool. Or, you can just as easily walk less than 60 feet to the shoreline. If you're a regular tennis player or even just experimenting we have 3 lighted PREMIER surface courts(3) and they're FREE for our guests. If you want lessons from a Pro that can also be easily arranged. And, yes, we have a couple of tennis racquets for our guests as well.

More about our complex - Located on world-famous Ali'i Drive the Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club is a four star, gated complex just three minutes drive from groceries, shops, theater, and one of the most popular snorkeling beaches in Hawaii - Kahaluu State Park (also known as Turtle Beach). Additionally, the Kona Country Club golf course is located immediately next to the Surf and Racquet Club. There's even a FREE shuttle to get to and from town or the nearby shopping center - this shuttle stops next to the entry gates to our complex.
More about the unit - This unit sleeps four. The master bedroom includes a king bed, dresser, desk, TV, DVD player, clock radio, phone, oceanviews AND a walk in closet. The second bedroom includes twin beds, dresser, large closet and slight oceanview. Really, come let the waves lull you to sleep at night - it's wonderful.
The unit was completely remodeled in 2006 with brand new everything: furniture, appliances and other amenities. And it has new beautiful new white tile flooring and fresh paint throughout. (We continue to maintain it to perfection!)
Beach Supplies - We have beach towels, chairs, boogey board, cooler and even toys for the kids - just ask when you make reservation.
The location of condo and subsequent remodel was done with both our guests and our personal visits in mind. We wanted a place that we would LOVE on our return every year and it had to be in a GREAT location. We also made sure that it was furnished and decorated to accomodate all guests in comfort. After staying here you'll never want to stay in a hotel on vacation again!
In addition to all the other fun stuff our condo is a centrally located for visiting the Kona coffee plantations in nearby Holualoa, traveling to Volcanoes National Park, experiencing boating excursions off the Kailua-Kona pier, shopping at outdoor markets or taking a tour to the top of Mauna Kea and visiting the observatory. And it's only 3 minutes drive to Kahaluu State Park (aptly known as Turtle Beach) where you can snorkel and swim with the turtles and beautiful tropical fish. The park has multiple bathrooms, showers and vendors that sell food and rent snorkel and beach gear.

We think it's the best snorkeling park in all of Hawaii! Easy access and superb snorkeling for beginners or advanced snorkelers. Lots of turtles, fish and there are lifeguards, bathrooms, sun, shade, food, rental gear. Perfect and less than 1/2 mile from your home (#59) in paradise.
Keauhou Bay is a 3 minutes drive from Keauhou Kona Surf & Racquet Club. This is the departure point from various snorkel, diving, and sightseeing tours.
The golf course surrounds the south and south east end of our lovely complex. You can enjoy a leisurely walk or drive around to entry for a game. Website: http://www.konagolf.com/
If you want to go out for a sunset walk and drink then we'd recommend our beach at the north end of complex or 1/4 mile further north is the Outrigger hotel and the Veranda Lounge. A wonderful open-air setting with panoramic views of the ocean, sunset AND turtles! This is a favorite nightspot for the turtles, too!

"Beautiful townhouse no. 59” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort My boyfriend and I stayed at townhouse 59 at the beginning of April and we would recommend it to anyone. As a couple we had ample space(there are 2 bedrooms) and it was ideally located not far from town and a walk to the best snorkelling on the west side of the island where we swam daily with huge turtles! The accomodation is bright,spacious,clean and has absolutely everything one would need on holiday. The supermarket is a short scenic drive up the hill(you could walk too but i loved my convertible rental!) Thumbs up to Sandy for having such wonderful accomodation at such a reasonable price.

“Townhouse #59” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort We stayed at Townhouse #59 from June 7-13, 2007. The townhouse has been recently renovated, has tile floors throughout and is kept very clean. We enjoyed the quiet location south of Kona yet close to grocery store, movie theatre and restaurants in the shopping center nearby. It was VERY nice to have washer/dryer for those everyday wet bathing suits (Kahalu'u x 2 just 1/8 mi away, Hapuna Beach, Sea Paradise to Kealakekua Bay, Two Step, the condo's pool). I especially enjoyed walking just 50 feet from the lanai to the oceanfront wall for a great view of the sunset. For the price of this townhouse, it can't be beat.

"Fantastic find” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort We stayed at Condo #59 on our 12 day vacation to Kona Hawaii. What a GREAT FIND. This is an end unit, and very quiet. It is 60 steps to the large pool. The beaches are great beaches a short drive away. The turtles swim with you. The snorkeling and boarding is amazing. The condo is clean,light bright and is tastefully furnished. Very comfortable. There is internet access as well as 2 TV's. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and utensils. Everything you will need. A dishwasher as well as a washer and dryer. This came in handy after the many trips to the pool daily. One good size master bedroom with a very large closet. A good size 2nd bedroom. Fans in every room. The location is very good. 3 minutes by car is grocery shopping,longs and much more. It is out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Kona and it just a short ride in. I researched for months before settling on this one. After speaking with and e-mailing the owner several times it was clear that it is very important for them to them to be able to share there little part of paradise with others and to help make their vacation special. They offer a huge amount of information if you desire. In this day and age it is very unusual to find people who actually care. I will eagerly pass my wonderful experience on and on. Liked — Clean,light,everything you needed,close to pool, beaches,shopping, internet comfortable.

Absolutely Fabulous!” Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort Again -- the best. We were blessed to stay in Townhouse #59. It was just as beautiful if not more than the pictures on the owners' website. The owners are fabulous. They did everything to make sure my family had a wonderful time. We had everything we needed in the condo. Other guests staying on the property stopped by to look it -- they were blown away. It is bright, beautiful and has a very tropical feel. 60 feet from the beach -- the best thing was it felt more like home than a hotel. We also spoke with people staying in large hotels -- they couldn't believe our accommodations. Thanks!

Proximity to everywhere” Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort Townhouse # 59 is the way to go in Kailua Kona. Owner really cares, solved problem expeditiously with local contact and was friendly throughout. House is clean and in good condition and well-stocked with cooking utensils and appliances. It is very close to Beaches (a leatherback turtle inhabited one just a few steps away!), Kailua and a variety of Coffee Farms and tourist attractions. Car is a must! Perhaps a credit card or coin operated air conditioner would be a great addition. It does get hot. Definitely a 4 Star ( *** Owner Comment - We now have AC available!! *** )

Townhouse #59” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort We went to Hawaii for my daughter's wedding and wanted to stay where we could play tennis. The condo was very well equiped and cared for. We relly enjoyed meeting the tennis pro "the Dude" and some of the local players. They made us feel very welcome and set up some matches for us. The owner was very professional and caring. Comfortable and Quiet Unit 59” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort My husband and I stayed at Sandy's lovely condo Unit 59 for several days. This unit is located close to most any activity you would want to visit. The unit is furnished very nicely with everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. The complex is well maintained, quiet, and safe. If we should return to visit Kona again we will call Sandy and ask for Unit 59. John and Pat Berry

“Location, Location, Location.................this was perfect for us!” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort This townhouse 59 was perfect for us (2 seniors) especially the location. Very clean with the feel of the island throughout the property and we appreciated the quiet. It had a "low-key" resort atmosphere with lovely pool, beach really close by and lots of walking paths. Everything we needed was easy to get to and Sandy gave great directions.

“Mid-winter escape in paradise” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort Just a quick note on how much my wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Kona Surf and Racquet Club and our satisfaction with the accommodations in Unit 59. The location in proximity to the ocean without being directly on the ocean was ideal. We found the pool to be our daily attraction and a great place to meet other guests. We have already decided to return next year and have booked our favorite unit again with an additional week. We thank our hosts (Sandy & Mohan) for having us and look very forward to returning next year. P.S. The gas barbecue grill was the best kept secret in the complex.
