E Komo Mai! (Welcome!) Are you dreaming of your Hawaiian vacation? Stay at a Two Bedroom/Two Bath almost oceanfront (~60 ft from the water) townhouse located in a four-star, gated, oceanfront complex on the Big Island of Hawaii.
As our guest, you can enjoy the ocean views and listening to the waves from this almost oceanfront condominium, relax at the large swimming pool, or take in a game of tennis at one of three lighted tennis courts. Located on world-famous Ali'i Drive the Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club is a four star, gated complex just three minutes drive from groceries, shops, theater, and one of the most popular snorkeling beaches in Hawaii - Kahaluu State Park (also known as Turtle Beach). Additionally, the Kona Country Club golf course is located immediately next to the Surf and Racquet Club.
This unit sleeps four. The master bedroom includes a king bed, dresser, desk, TV, DVD player, clock radio, phone, oceanviews AND a walk in closet. The second bedroom includes twin beds, dresser, large closet and slight oceanview. Come let the waves lull you to sleep at night - it's wonderful.
The unit was completely remodeled in Feb/Mar 2006 with brand new everything: furniture, appliances and other amenities. And it has new beautiful new white tile flooring and fresh paint throughout.
The location of condo and subsequent remodel was done with both our guests and our personal visits in mind. We wanted a place that we would LOVE on our return every year and it had to be in a GREAT location. We also made sure that it was furnished and decorated to accomodate all guests in comfort. After staying here you'll never want to stay in a hotel on vacation again!
The Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club is ideally situated about 4.5 miles south of the village of Kailua-Kona, between Kahalu'u Beach Park (turtle beach) and the Keauhou Shopping Center (restaurants, theatre, grocerys, medical care, etc..). Just minutes away from all the wonderful activities Kona has to offer, yet central to the more exclusive Keauhou resort area.
In addition to all the other fun stuff our condo is a centrally located for visiting the Kona coffee plantations in nearby Holualoa, traveling to Volcanoes National Park, experiencing boating excursions off the Kailua-Kona pier, shopping at outdoor markets or taking a tour to the top of Mauna Kea and visiting the observatory. And it's only 3 minutes drive to Kahaluu State Park (aptly known as Turtle Beach) where you can snorkel and swim with the turtles and beautiful tropical fish. The park has multiple bathrooms, showers and vendors that sell food and rent snorkel and beach gear.

- Oceanfront: We are ~60 ft from the ocean's edge. While we're not designated oceanfront - we have a direct view and walkway to the shoreline and view. Again, we're only ~60 ft from the water and sounds of surf lull you to sleep at night.
- Ocean View: The ocean is only 60 ft away! You can hear and see it! This is much better than most oceanviews - it's more accurate to say the unit is almost oceanfront (without oceanfront prices!)
- Mountain View: You can look all the way up to the Holualoa/Kona coffee growing hillside! A great attraction to visit in the afternoon
- Golf Course Front: The UNIT is NOT on the golf course but the complex IS directly next to the Kona Country Golf Course.

Sandy: See ratings below. We just got back home today. We had a great vacation!! We are rested, tanned and ready to go back again. I have to tell you that your townhouse was absolutely perfect for us. We loved having the sleeping area apart from the rest of the unit and having a 2nd bedroom for the boys. We were so surprised at the like new condition of everything and how clean it was. It was roomy, bright and decorated just perfectly. It was certainly not what one comes to expect from vacation rentals. There are still items in the kitchen drawers that still had their tags on them! We ate breakfast on the lanai each morning with island fruit, sweet bread toast and sipped Kona coffee. The boys loved having the pool at their back door and were there every chance they got and played with other kids. (I am sure that some of the permanent residents hadn’t seen anything quite like it before. The last night there were 10 little boys in the pool at the same time!) Your recommendation on the beach down the road was right on as well. We snorkeled there and saw turtles and a zillion fish. We did the volcanoes, saw a nene, the boys swam with the dolphins at Dolphin Quest- Waikoloa, played with the geckos, did the black sand beach, and swam and swam and swam. We also made it a point to not miss a single Hawaii sunset!!!! Your island contact was great as well and even brought us a bogey board to borrow, Not sure if it was hers or from another unit, but it was sure appreciated. The unit was ready and clean as promised. She even brought a new fan for us to use. I can tell you that we spent the last 4 days on Maui and while we had fun there it was not the same as on the big island. We paid more for a condo rental there and got less that what we got from you. We got the typical thread bare used rental unit that looked, felt and smelled like a rental unit. The entire time there the boys kept saying that Maui was okay but they wanted to go back to the big island and the townhouse and the club pool there. We felt like we were staying at someone’s home at your place and not in a “vacation rental”. Again thanks for helping to make our vacation such a memorable trip. You can count on us booking with you again in the future. Your time, patience, assistance and personal touches were greatly appreciated. Thanks also for the birthday card and flowers for Nancy. That was a nice gesture and surely one that you didn’t have to do. Please feel free to use us a reference in the future and any of our comments as feedback on your rental site at you see fit. We thought that the condo was great! Very clean, nice and well equipped. The only sort of negative was that the pool is definitely an older crowd and the plethora of rules made it seem less than kid friendly (although, nobody ever made us feel unwelcome). I would definitely consider staying there again! You have done a great job of remodeling the unit! Thanks again for helping to make our trip fabulous.

Thank you so much for helping us get our son together with his best buddy here on the island of beautiful Hawaii. We swam - pools, tide pools, ocean surf - boogie boarded, snorkeled, saw turtles and black sand beaches and volcanoes. Such a beautiful place you have here. Tiger (the across the street cat) made us all laugh and we enjoyed his (outside) company. Eating breakfast outside was great and having the ocean lull us at night was wonderful. All your hard work in remodeling is evident - nice job. Thanks again.
