Townhouse 59 is a nice vacation rental. The owner, Sandy Kumar, is VERY helpful and we had no problems with the unit while there for six weeks. Management/Cleaning - Jeri - was super too. The townhouse, which was renovated in 2006, is well equipped with name brand appliances and the owner has not stinted on anything. The kitchen had lots of dishes and the little extras such as beach equipment make life easier. The townhouse was spotless. The condo itself is in a lovely location view wise and is handy to everything. We have enjoyed the lanai and the pool. The tennis pro gave lessons. The complex is in a great location and people are friendly. And it is nice and quiet. I enjoy good art and the watercolors chosen from a local artist add to the feeling that the condo is well furnished.  Also, the complex is central to some good sightseeing. I would recommend this townhouse unhesitatingly. It was a lovely introduction to Hawaii for us.

Hi Sandy After spending a wonderful week in Kona, we are leaving for Bangalore tomorrow morning. During our stay in Kona we snorkeled at Kahaluu beach, Honaunau, Mauna Kea beach. We also took a tour to the summit of Mauna Kea. And last but not least, we hiked to Captain Cook's monument today and snorkeled in the beautiful Kealakekua bay. We had an excellent stay in your beautiful condo. This is our 3rd visit to Hawaii & without doubt this is the best condo we have stayed in. The location, amenities, ... everything was perfect! “Mid-winter escape in paradise” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort Just a quick note on how much my wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Kona Surf and Racquet Club and our satisfaction with the accommodations in Unit 59. The location in proximity to the ocean without being directly on the ocean was ideal. We found the pool to be our daily attraction and a great place to meet other guests. We have already decided to return next year and have booked our favorite unit again with an additional week. We thank our hosts (Sandy & Mohan) for having us and look very forward to returning next year. P.S. The gas barbecue grill was the best kept secret in the complex.

“Location, Location, Location.................this was perfect for us!” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort This townhouse 59 was perfect for us (2 seniors) especially the location. Very clean with the feel of the island throughout the property and we appreciated the quiet. It had a "low-key" resort atmosphere with lovely pool, beach really close by and lots of walking paths. Everything we needed was easy to get to and Sandy gave great directions.

This condo was all that was promised and more! I really enjoyed my stay in 'paradise' as the accmodation was spotless and the location-about 25 metres from the ocean-perfect. To go to sleep each night with the sound of the surf and with the breeze off the ocean to keep it cool--who could ask for anything more. I would love to return again; especially since I arrived back in Syracuse during a snow storm. Please contact owner for my contact info.

Aloha Island Dreams/Kona 101 Townhouse #59 - The Perfect Trip! My wife, six month old son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aloha Island Dreams/Kona 101 Townhouse #59. The place was in pristine condition when we arrived and had every amenity we could ask for. We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean and watched beautiful sunsets every evening. The pool was amazing, as was the centralized location. The owner, Sandy, went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful trip. If you stay here, be sure to enjoy the local snorkeling beaches. I would pass on any of the Big Island resorts if I was returning and would definitely stay at this townhouse again! 5 STARS!

We stayed in Unit 59 after reading other reviews and rented from Sandy. We didn't need AC but you may want to arrange for the portable unit if staying in the summer. Our unit was spotless, we could hear the ocean breezes and the snorkeling beach just a short walk from the unit was excellent. The pool was crystal clear and had it to ourselves several times. We shy away from large busy party resorts and this place was serene yet close to shopping and restaurants. The unit was well equipped and the washer dryer came in handy. Our morning coffee was greeted with tropical birds on the lanai and the occasional mongoose attempting to catch them. We felt at home here and can't wait until we come back again one day soon.

(english) we were really suprised about this amazing house.it is directly located in kona (near a shoppingcenter and beaches) was totally clear and had a lot of place in the whole rooms.we often cook dinner in the kitchen,which had enough stuff to cook little things.the internet was very fast.we enjoyed our time and would definitely come back.next time we would take a house directly by the ocean. thank you sandy for the kindly support and always be here for our questions. (german - deutsch) wir waren wirklich ueberrascht ueber das haus.mit dem schweizer-standart kann es also wirklich allemal mithalten.es hat super viel platz, hat plattenboden (kein teppich) und sogar einen gartensitzplatz.wir haben oft gekocht.die kueche war gut ausgestattet.das internet war total schnell und es hatte gute waschmaschine/tumbler.leider war kein haus direkt mit meersicht frei,aber man sah vom aussensitzplatz noch einen teil vom meer,was auch in ordnung war. wir wuerden definitiv wieder kommen. sandy war immer fuer uns da und wir bekamen total schnell antwort ueber s'mail. herzlichen dank fuer alles, sandy.

Comfortable and Quiet Unit 59” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort My husband and I stayed at Sandy's lovely condo Unit 59 for several days. This unit is located close to most any activity you would want to visit. The unit is furnished very nicely with everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. The complex is well maintained, quiet, and safe. If we should return to visit Kona again we will call Sandy and ask for Unit 59. John and Pat Berry

Our stay in March 2008, was wonderful. My parents 74 & 70 and my sister had 11 wonderful days to celebrate our parents anniversary and to enjoy the beautiful area. The condo 59 had everything and anything we could ask for or wanted. The pool was right in our backyard and the beach was just a minute walk away. The beach area was an easy walk and we sit in chairs to enjoy the sunset or work on our tans. We felt safe and secure in the area and enjoyed every minute of our time. It was quiet and relaxing in the area and the cleanness and comfort of the condo make us wich for a longer stay to enjoy the surroundings. This was a vacation to dream about for years to come. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your condo this past week. Your condo is set up perfectly for easy maintenance and is in a nice quiet setting ( no one above you, great pool- almost no one in the pool until the last two days when school was out!) We were having so much fun that we spaced out thinking that we were leaving Tuesday and stayed an additional night. When our friends called Tuesday morning, who were at the Portland airport to pick us up, we realized that we had stayed an extra day and panicked and were in a big sweat until we were able to get new tickets and car rental extension. We called Jeri right away and explained what had happened, and thankfully no one was coming into the condo that day. It was nice to enjoy our love of big Hawaii, and hope to return soon. Townhouse #59” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort We went to Hawaii for my daughter's wedding and wanted to stay where we could play tennis. The condo was very well equiped and cared for. We relly enjoyed meeting the tennis pro "the Dude" and some of the local players. They made us feel very welcome and set up some matches for us. The owner was very professional and caring. Absolutely Fabulous!” Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort Again -- the best. We were blessed to stay in Townhouse #59. It was just as beautiful if not more than the pictures on the owners' website. The owners are fabulous. They did everything to make sure my family had a wonderful time. We had everything we needed in the condo. Other guests staying on the property stopped by to look it -- they were blown away. It is bright, beautiful and has a very tropical feel. 60 feet from the beach -- the best thing was it felt more like home than a hotel. We also spoke with people staying in large hotels -- they couldn't believe our accommodations. Thanks!

"Fantastic find” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort We stayed at Condo #59 on our 12 day vacation to Kona Hawaii. What a GREAT FIND. This is an end unit, and very quiet. It is 60 steps to the large pool. The beaches are great beaches a short drive away. The turtles swim with you. The snorkeling and boarding is amazing. The condo is clean,light bright and is tastefully furnished. Very comfortable. There is internet access as well as 2 TV's. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and utensils. Everything you will need. A dishwasher as well as a washer and dryer. This came in handy after the many trips to the pool daily. One good size master bedroom with a very large closet. A good size 2nd bedroom. Fans in every room. The location is very good. 3 minutes by car is grocery shopping,longs and much more. It is out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Kona and it just a short ride in. I researched for months before settling on this one. After speaking with and e-mailing the owner several times it was clear that it is very important for them to them to be able to share there little part of paradise with others and to help make their vacation special. They offer a huge amount of information if you desire. In this day and age it is very unusual to find people who actually care. I will eagerly pass my wonderful experience on and on. Liked — Clean,light,everything you needed,close to pool, beaches,shopping, internet comfortable.

“Townhouse #59” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort We stayed at Townhouse #59 from June 7-13, 2007. The townhouse has been recently renovated, has tile floors throughout and is kept very clean. We enjoyed the quiet location south of Kona yet close to grocery store, movie theatre and restaurants in the shopping center nearby. It was VERY nice to have washer/dryer for those everyday wet bathing suits (Kahalu'u x 2 just 1/8 mi away, Hapuna Beach, Sea Paradise to Kealakekua Bay, Two Step, the condo's pool). I especially enjoyed walking just 50 feet from the lanai to the oceanfront wall for a great view of the sunset. For the price of this townhouse, it can't be beat.

Proximity to everywhere” Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort Townhouse # 59 is the way to go in Kailua Kona. Owner really cares, solved problem expeditiously with local contact and was friendly throughout. House is clean and in good condition and well-stocked with cooking utensils and appliances. It is very close to Beaches (a leatherback turtle inhabited one just a few steps away!), Kailua and a variety of Coffee Farms and tourist attractions. Car is a must! Perhaps a credit card or coin operated air conditioner would be a great addition. It does get hot. Definitely a 4 Star ( *** Owner Comment - We now have AC available!! *** )

"Beautiful townhouse no. 59” - Keauhou Kona Surf And Racquet Club Resort My boyfriend and I stayed at townhouse 59 at the beginning of April and we would recommend it to anyone. As a couple we had ample space(there are 2 bedrooms) and it was ideally located not far from town and a walk to the best snorkelling on the west side of the island where we swam daily with huge turtles! The accomodation is bright,spacious,clean and has absolutely everything one would need on holiday. The supermarket is a short scenic drive up the hill(you could walk too but i loved my convertible rental!) Thumbs up to Sandy for having such wonderful accomodation at such a reasonable price.

Oceanview rooms were so nice, and the convenient location to the beach and shopping were great. This was a great home away from home!

July-August, 2006 Everything is in very good order. We've stayed in condos all over the country, and your's is the best one I can remember. Your website makes a great impression, but the experience thus far is even better than we expected. The flowers and gift basket were an unexpected delight. Our son, Jack, loves the area. We walked over to the beach just north of here, and he saw a turtle resting there. He thought that was really cool. We much appreciate your concern and commitment. If there is anything I can do while we're here, please let me know.

Stayed in SandysCondo in August, 2006 for a week. Nice, clean and pleasant condo, had a great time. Played tennis every day, kids got a lesson from a super friendly pro, and snorkeled most every day. Only thing that would have been nice is a little blurb on how to get to the local beach, and some local color comments on restaurants, dive outfits, places to drive etc. But this is really minor. Thanks again!

Sandy: See ratings below. We just got back home today. We had a great vacation!! We are rested, tanned and ready to go back again. I have to tell you that your townhouse was absolutely perfect for us. We loved having the sleeping area apart from the rest of the unit and having a 2nd bedroom for the boys.We were so surprised at the like new condition of everything and how clean it was. It was roomy, bright and decorated just perfectly. It was certainly not what one comes to expect from vacation rentals. There are still items in the kitchen drawers that still had their tags on them!We ate breakfast on the lanai each morning with island fruit, sweet bread toast and sipped Kona coffee. The boys loved having the pool at their back door and were there every chance they got and played with other kids. (I am sure that some of the permanent residents hadn’t seen anything quite like it before. The last night there were 10 little boys in the pool at the same time!) Your recommendation on the beach down the road was right on as well. We snorkeled there and saw turtles and a zillion fish. We did the volcanoes, saw a nene, the boys swam with the dolphins at Dolphin Quest- Waikoloa, played with the geckos, did the black sand beach, and swam and swam and swam. We also made it a point to not miss a single Hawaii sunset!!!! Your island contact was great as well and even brought us a bogey board to borrow, Not sure if it was hers or from another unit, but it was sure appreciated. The unit was ready and clean as promised. She even brought a new fan for us to use. I can tell you that we spent the last 4 days on Maui and while we had fun there it was not the same as on the big island. We paid more for a condo rental there and got less that what we got from you. We got the typical thread bare used rental unit that looked, felt and smelled like a rental unit. The entire time there the boys kept saying that Maui was okay but they wanted to go back to the big island and the townhouse and the club pool there. We felt like we were staying at someone’s home at your place and not in a “vacation rental”. Again thanks for helping to make our vacation such a memorable trip. We thought that the condo was great! Very clean, nice and well equipped. The only sort of negative was that the pool is definitely an older crowd and the plethora of rules made it seem less than kid friendly (although, nobody ever made us feel unwelcome). I would definitely consider staying there again! You have done a great job of remodeling the unit! Thanks again for helping to make our trip fabulous.

Thank you so much for helping us get our son together with his best buddy here on the island of beautiful Hawaii. We swam - pools, tide pools, ocean surf - boogie boarded, snorkeled, saw turtles and black sand beaches and volcanoes. Such a beautiful place you have here. Tiger (the across the street cat) made us all laugh and we enjoyed his (outside) company. Eating breakfast outside was great and having the ocean lull us at night was wonderful.
