Come and visit our home away from home, in the beautiful white-washed Punta Marina Condominiums.

Our three bedroom, three and a half bath home is not only spacious inside, but has about 1000 square feet of outdoor terrace to enjoy the views and gentle breezes of La Ropa beach.

Lounge in the hammock, sip margaritas on the terrace, take a dip in the adjoining pool.

You can head also into Centro (the city center) where you can explore the mercado (a traditional Mexican market) or stroll along the waterfront watching the fisherman haul in their catch. There are plenty of shops selling everything from traditional Mexican crafts, to beautiful silver jewelry, to tequila and local vanilla. Check out the action by the basketball courts, or grab a meal at one of the local restaurants.

But of course, during the day there is no better place to relax than the beach. This beautiful stretch of beach has plenty of places to lay in the sun, play in the surf or head out with your mask and fins. You can even get a massage right on the beach!

At night the beach twinkles with restaurants offering the catch of the day. Or head into town for a bit more action. Traditional Mexican fare is everywhere, but other restaurants offer everything from Italian to upscale to authentic southern BBQ.

  • My fiance and I spent an amazing week in this condo and in this amazing place. Zihautanejo is charmingly still Mexico. Standing on the deck you have a view of the entire bay, looking toward the hills on the other side of the bay there is the pastel painted sunset kissing the tops of them goodnight every night. We loved being on the deck at that time of day. The serenity and quiet were abundant. With a short walk to beach there are many fine restaurants. Sitting at a table, in the sand, at the edge of the surf, umbrella over head and umbrella's in the refreshing inexpensive drinks is one of our favorite parts of this area. The kitchen is well appointed, and while we didn't do much cooking while there, we did make use of the ice cube trays and blender for margaritas! There is internet for those of us who can't seem to do without email while on vacation. The taxi providers know the place well and show up very quickly so we didn't rent a car and were happy with the savings of that. One of our absolutely favorite parts of the condo and be summed up in two words TOWEL ORIGAMI. The lady that looks after the place has some really strong smile inducing skills when it comes to folding towels in beautiful shapes. It is an amazing place for a couple to spend some time together. If you want to fall in love anew, or just have a few quiet moments alone, this is absolutely the spot.

  • We spent the month of January and had a great time. The fishing was terrific and very inexpensive, the food is fantastic and plenty of places to go see near by. Or if you are a beach bum that's great too. Clean and friendly with a lot of people that have been coming for many years will great you. I hate to tell you how good it is because it is a great secret. We had relatives and friends come and they all want to come back, darn!!! Just kidding!

  • This condo is FANTASTIC! It's comfortable, well-equipped, well- located, safe, relaxing and EASY! My kids and I have stayed there three times, and are excited to be heading back for our 4th annual stay next month! The condo, the pool, the beach, the town -- it's all super family friendly. We've been there with my parents ("the grandparents") and with friends with a baby -- and it's perfect every time. I'd highly recommend it!

  • There is no better place to stay in Zihuatanejo! This condo has it all...amenities, view, pool, privacy, beach etc...It's beautifully decorated with a stunning view of the sea on it's perch above the bay. A short walk down takes you right to the beach. They've stocked the condo with information about everything in the area - day trips to other beaches, fishing excursions, food, phone numbers etc... We were there in the late spring and we had the pool nearly to ourselves each day. The condo has a gorgeous veranda as well. We hired a local cook to come in and prepare a wonderful Zihua meal. The condo is a bit off the beaten path, which is exactly what you want in Zihua. It feels private and a real getaway while being just steps from the beach and just a very short taxi ride to town. Don't look any further. You've found the place you want to be.

  • We had a truly relaxing time here. It was quiet, comfortable, and a great place to chill. Zihuat is a great little town with all the old world charm. It was great to stay in a true Mexican town instead of a resort but with all the amenities. There is a watchman who's really friendly that patrols the building all night. We arrived after dark and he loaned me his flashlight so we could take the shortcut to the nearest restaurant. The cleaning staff is also friendly and efficient. She always left the place spotless with different 'towel sculptures' on the bed each visit. The views of the bay and town are striking. We enjoyed the massive deck with great privacy. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

  • An incredible, private condo in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Very clean and all the amenities you would need to make your vacation perfect. We took advantage of hiring a cook to shop for us and fix our first dinner (with appetizer) so that when we arrived we could just sit back, fix a cocktail and relax. If you drive, make sure that you have good driving directions as even the taxis have a difficult time finding it. A small price to pay for one of the best values in Zihaut! They also provide 'important' numbers, including a wonderful fishing option -- and the charter was extremely reasonable. Best of all, you can bring your fresh catch back for sashimi and fish tacos. Paradise.
