Our Mountain Cabin Getaway

I am so proud of our cabin in the mountains. Come enjoy it too. You will soon know why. Like many of you, we are from Florida, (or some other part of the country) where we just cannot enjoy the mountains of North Carolina. This cabin gave us that ability. In a location of quiet and peace, and yet only 12 minutes to downtown Murphy, or 5 minutes to the golf course, You Can Also Enjoy It Too.

With cherry, pine, oak and very fine leather furniture, this three bedroom cabin (behind their own closed doors), one of the very few up here in the mountains, features over 800 square feet of upper/lower wrap-around decks, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen and more. Just a short walk to the country club for some mountain golf, a 45 minute drive to the best river in the southeast for some rafting, or quietly enjoy coffee on the deck when every morning is cool, and every night sky is filled with stars, peace and privacy.

We are just 12 minutes to town and yet out in the middle of the most beautiful mountain country...your own piece of heaven, far from the hustle and bustle.

Come... raft the Ocoee or Natahala, fly fish the streams of the Nantahala, or spend some time looking for your own piece of this wonderful country. It's as beautiful and relaxing as can be up here as can be.

When the day is done, turn on the music, and enjoy a few beers and some good home cooking on the deck if it's the heat of the summer, or the floor to ceiling stone fireplace, and a bottle of wine, before you spend a few moments underneath "more stars than you will ever see again", on our deck.....if it's early spring or late fall.

Any way you have it, our cabin gives you privacy, easy access to your favorite activities, quick trips to town when you wish you did not have to, and a place where for one week.....you will feel completely at home.

  • Golf Course View: There is a fun path from the mountain to the 14th hole below, but we don't recommend it. Instead? Take the 3 minute drive to the clubhouse and play one of the most beautiful golf courses in the mountains of North Carolina
