We are located in the brand new Sanctuary at False Cape at the south end of Sandbridge Beach. Sandbridge Beach is a wonderful beachfront community offering the best of both worlds....a peaceful retreat bordering the wonderful Back Bay Refuge, yet offering great proximity to the excitement on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk.
Our condo has 3 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, and 2 sets of bunk beds) and 2 bathrooms. It is on the 4th floor with gorgeous sunset views (pictured) of Back Bay from our private balcony, great room, and master bedroom. The resort offers a courtyard with a beautiful pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, stainless steel gas grills and teak furniture to dine on. New this year guests will have access to a brand new oceanfront pool and tiki bar!
We are just steps from the beach so if you have kids it makes it really easy for everyone to go to both the beach and pool. On the first floor there is an excercise room complete with treadmills, stairs, bikes, weights and tv's. There is also a game room for the kids.
Guests can use our bikes, beach chairs, and rafts which we store in our private beach closet on the ground floor. Bike riding is really nice in Sandbridge....you can venture to the north end of the island or you can go deep into the Back Bay Refuge. Our kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite counters as do the the baths.
The Sanctuary is located at the southern end of Sandbridge Beach and is adjacent to Back Bay Wildlife Refuge, an 9000 acre national park. Here you can hike, bike and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We are also a very short walk to a great pier where you can fish or just enjoy the view. Hell's Point Golf Club is 10 minutes away and is open to the public. Check out the link for more info. We loved this condo! The place is beautiful and comfortable. It is just as pictured. The sunsets from the balcony are not to be missed. Because of traffic, it did take a little longer than we thought to get to the Williamsburg attractions but that was a small price to pay for staying here. The owner was a pleasure to work with. Would definitely recommend to others.
