The perfect place to end a European vacation

Guest: Heather (Regina, Canada)
Date of Stay: 07/24/11 Review Submitted: 01/24/12

Our 2 families spent 3 weeks in Europe last summer and our stay in Cortona and specifically at Moses' Palace was the highlight. Roberto and Rebecca went out of their way to introduce us to Cortona. Moses' Palace is beautiful with comfortable rooms and beds, and everything you need to feel at home away from home. The kitchen had every utensil and appliance we could desire and we enjoyed many home cooked meals after a trip to the butcher shop down the street (when we weren't devouring the local pizza)! People would stop outside the house just to admire it and its history. I spent hours soaking in the sun on the little balcony on the 4th floor while reading books. So relaxing! See you soon, I hope, Roberto and Rebecca and thank you!

This is a wonderful villa!

This review is horribly overdue, but important because we had such a wonderful experience renting this villa. We stayed in "Moses Palace" for four nights - it is located in lovely Cortona. The owners, Roberto and Rebecca, were extremely nice, easy to work with and made sure the villa was clean and ready for our visit. It is spacious with four bedrooms and two and a half baths - plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was nice and we loved having the option to stay in and cook (although with the great restaurants in Cortona and other parts of Tuscany we only cooked once). I would stay here again - in fact I hope to sometime soon!

Could not have asked for more!

During our recent visit with friends to Cortona for a wedding, we were happy to stay in this elegant and historic house. It fit our every need. The bathrooms were large and very well equipped and the beds and linens were very comfortable. We spent most of our time together in the kitchen, preparing food and visiting with one another. Everything we needed to prepare a meal was available in the kitchen. If I return to Cortona, I will certainly want to stay here!

Moses' Palace

Date of Stay: 08/20/11 Review Submitted: 09/08/11

My partner, my sister and my friend all enjoyed our stay at the Moses' Palace in Cortona. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The position of the accomodation allowed us access to the town easily and we enjoyed coming home to the Palace each afternoon after a day of sightseeing. A lovely experience. The street was a little noisy at night and the top rooms a little on the warm side.

“During our recent three-week stay in Italy, our family rented two different houses through Roberto Ghezzi (ICREA) and we must say that our experience with him was 100% positive. Renting through ICREA exceeded our expectations and we found that Roberto’s service, professionalism and attentiveness to us was excellent both prior to our trip and throughout the duration of our stay in Tuscany. We highly recommend Roberto Ghezzi and his company; you will be in great hands!”
