Our "humble" cottage is a sweet little house right on the beach in the wonderful fishing village of Grand Case. It is not on the main street, but in back of an island house that is. Walk through our West Indian Alley and find the cottage and patio overlooking the beach and passing ships.
The town is quiet during the daytime. You might find that you are alone on the beach. In the evening the town wakes up and people from all over the island come to sample the 30 fabulous restaurant that make Grand Case their home. Shops, galleries, fine and simple restaurants are at your beck and call without even getting into a car. You will love the cottage and return. That is for sure.

We have stayed in Grand Case 5 times, twice in the cottage. Due to its central location and rustic charm it is by far our favourite spot so far. Located at the ideal spot on the beach and in the heart of the best restaurants it offers both convenience and privacy. Clean, plenty of linens and a comfortable bed. Equipped to prepare your own meals if you don't want to take advantage of the fabulous Grand Case eateries. Not the Ritz but not the Ritz price either. We would much rather spend the money on food.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My only hesitation in writing a review is that I don’t want anyone else to know about this wonderful cottage! My husband and I have been to St. Martin four times now, and we have stayed here twice. We will keep coming back. The location could not be better in terms of beaching or dining. Everything is literally only steps away. The kitchen has helpful little things like shopping bags, coffee filters, umbrellas and coolers. The air conditioning in the bedroom makes for sound sleeping. (Be aware that the kitchen and bathroom are not air conditioned.) The maid service is seamless. The price is right. This is not a luxury accommodation, nor do we want that. It is a little home away from home. And the owner, Roberta, is incredibly helpful.
