Great Comfort at a Great Location
Great Comfort at a Great Location
We absolutely loved out stay at Casas De Guadalupe. We stayed in unit E, but we had family members also in units A, B, F and H, so we got to check them all out (but I'll give specifics on our unit E). Management went above and beyond in helping us determine which units were best for which families and especially in helping us coordinate accomodations when our stays got extended due to a snowstorm. Our unit was just right for our family of 3. You enter into the living area with tile floor, couch, flat screen TV with cable/satellite, and fireplace with starter wood. To the left is the smaller bedroom with queen bed, ceiling fan, and small closet space. Through the living room is a 4 person kitchen table, 2 bar stools to sit at the kitchen counter, smaller kitchen that had everything we needed (full size refrigerator, stove, oven, coffee maker, toaster, and utensils), and a 1/2 bath with full size washer and dryer (including laundry detergent). Now head up the stairs to a full bathroom with shower (light on water pressure, but plenty of hot water), a sitting area atop the landing (with fold out loveseat and recliner), and the master bedroom (with queen bed, closets, dresser, chairs, and TV). The upstairs actually feels more spacious than the downstairs! The heater worked well and kept us warm in some really cold weather. Free wi-fi was a bonus, and we had no problems with access or speed. Keep in mind, these are not luxury units. They are older buildings but have been maintained, cleaned and updated nicely. Cozy is the word that comes to mind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return again soon!

Dear Mary Ann, sorry for taking so long to reply, but the older I get the more my life feels like a Tilt-a-Whirl. We enjoyed our stay at casita B very much. The rooms were clean, we had every convenience available, and we especially enjoyed the proximity to the Plaza. Except when we left for day trips or wanted to load up on groceries, we left the car in the yard. I have told my kids that at some point, if we can all get free at the same time, it would make a great family vacation. You might, therefore, hear from us again! Thank you for your help in finding the best casita for us.

Why the Owner Chose Guadalupe:
I actually lived in these casitas in 2005. Having lived in New Mexico for most of my life I found the life style in Santa Fe so different and unique. I fell in love with the city, the area and culture immediately! When I was given the opportunity to purchase these properties I jumped on it!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This property is located just off of Guadalupe which is one of the main streets that borders the Plaza. Once you cross Guadalupe, you will see lots of shops, restaurants and museums. Park is a very quiet street just off the beaten path. You can enjoy a day at the plaza, walk back to the casita and enjoy a quiet night on the patio. Or take a little walk to any of the nearby restaurants in the area. If you don’t feel like eating out, there are several grocery stores in the area. The kitchen is fully equipped making it easy to whip up a delicious meal of your very own!
