"Renascence" is a true Maine cottage of the 50's, updated for comfort and ease. We are located on Spruce Head Island, a small fishing village connected to the mainland by a causeway. Our cozy cottage is perched at the water's edge of a tidal cove with the islands in view and the wide open ocean literally around the bend. Our acre and a half of paradise offers nearly 360 degree views from our open field behind the cottage where we have campfires, fly kites, play ball or simply watch the sunrise. From the deck we take in the sunsets and from our dock we shove off to kayak to the nearby islands for picnics or treasure hunting.
All the shopping, museums, restaurants and conveniences for a great vacation are only ten minutes away in the progressive town of Rockland. Yet, there is nothing quite like returning to "Renascence" after a stimulating day and drinking in the beauty and serenity. This three bedroom cottage is fully equipped with a warm and welcoming feel for a "true" getaway experience.

Great place with everything as shown on website. Good kayaking with rentals from Perry at the lobster shack - also good lobster every day from him. The hot tub was well used with lots os swimming every day, good walks along the shoreline.
Recommended for:Families with young children.
