Casitas del Mar's Presidente Casita is an exquisite home on the beach located in the finest area of Hermosa Beach. The views are breathtaking. It is a 2 minute walk to delightful restaurants open morning to night, as well as, a convenience store. It's an 8 minute walk to Pier Plaza with a large variety of restaurants and shopping. Target, Nordstrom at South Bay Galleria Mall, and Costco are within a 10-20 minute drive.
The Casita is designed in luxurious Tommy Bahama style. The home has a fresh full kitchen with granite countertops and island. The bedrooms and bathrooms are complete and beautifully appointed. There are fine wood floors throughout the home with wool rugs. It comes complete with absolutely everything you need.... including sunscreen!
The living room's two sets of double doors open to the oceanfront and STRAND deck. It's as if you are inside and outside at the same time. You're all of 10 feet to the sand and a short stroll to the water. Words can't describe the feeling you'll have from this amazing location!
The Presidente Casita has an oversized bricked patio with a fire pit for lounging in this idyllic setting and watching the world go by. Enjoy the private enclosed courtyard with lounge chairs, natural gas grill and granite dining table. The master bedroom also hosts a beautiful ocean view. The Palm bedroom has a queen bed and a HD Flat screen TV w/DVR. The Seashell bedroom has plantation bunk beds with a comfortable trundle pull out. The Italian leather sofa in the living room pulls into a sleeper.
Surf or play beach volleyball in front of the house. Children's swings are nearby on the beach. The Historic Hermosa Pier offers fishing and strolling an 8 minute walk away. Downtown Hermosa has the famous Comedy & Magic Club where you can catch Jay Leno and Ray Romano. Also visit Gallery C and see the burgeoning Hermosa art scene.
Cabana-optional extra
$350 per week
The Cabana is accessible to the Presidente from outside courtyard & inside the garage. A mini studio -- tile floors, shower, toilet, hand-painted Mexican tile sink, towels, bamboo floor matting, lounge/dressing area, mini refrig and closet. It's decorated in a Cabana Spa style. It provides a quiet place to rest or read a book - out of the sun. NOT AVAILABLE SOLO... only as an add-on.

This location is considered, by South Bay real estate experts, to be one of the top three lots on the Hermosa Beach Strand. It's on a corner and oversized, it's north of the pier, and sits on the "sunny side" of the street. Most Strand homes have a small deck in front.... we choose this location because of the large deck and huge ocean front side yard.

A beatiful home in an excellent location. The home is well appointed with everthing that you think you may need on a beach vacation and then even more. The layout of the home and patios are ideal.There are great restaurants in walking distance. The property owner was very hospitable. Our family truly enjoyed our vacation and would like to return in the future.

The Presidente Casita and the Vista Casita have been described, by past guests, as: " very nice in photos and fantastic in person. The "Four Seasons" of vacation rentals." We could not get any closer to the beach. Situated on a corner lot afforded us a large side yard with all ammanities, including toys fo tots. There was nothing left out including biles which we took full advantage of. The owner was more than gracious and gave us the oppertunity for an advance check in. I would recommend the property to who ever wishes to be on the sand, location is prim. Walking ditance from the cottage is Hermosa Pier and Square offering a range of out door eateries and shops. The family is considering this as an annual location for future reunions. .
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.
