You can experience the exciting Lake Shasta Recreation area while staying in our custom 2,400-square-foot home located in Lakehead, CA. Lakehead is situated on the North tip of Lake Shasta. The West house is just one-half block to the lake and right outside our door there is bicycling, (mountain and road) with a 12-mile, round-trip ride on a quiet road.
Enjoy lake swimming (summer water temperature is around 75 to 85 degrees F), jogging, wild life watching and berry-picking. The boat launch is a short one and-a-half mile drive with lake shore and moorage a short three-minute walk. There is plenty of parking at the house for boat trailers, and cars. New to the area, then rent our boat with guide and wake board instruction included.
