Treehouse offers * 2 MASTER BEDROOMS * and 2 addional bedrooms (Queen and Twins)each with private spacious bath. With extended decks overlooking the mountains and Wolfscratch Village of Big Canoe plus the close proximity to Big Canoe amenities, pool, tennis, fitness center, shopping and restaurants... Treehouse Lodge offers everything you could wish for. The Panoramic Year-round Views are one of the most enjoyable features and can be enjoyed from inside or from outdoor spaces which include oversized Decks on two levels and lovely Screened Porch with stone fireplace. Professionally Decorated, the home has many custom features and designer details such as custom upholstered furniture and fine artwork. Guests find Treehouse Lodge very comfortable and functional. The floor-plan also allows for all guests to have their "space".
Enter this home from the covered stone porch into the welcoming foyer. Wood walls and floors along with lots of stone give this home the perfect "rustic" feel with all the "creature comforts". The main level has a two-story great room with massive stone fireplace which is open to the dining area and a spacious kitchen with granite counters, gas stove, breakfast bar and pantry. The room features huge windows with views of the sunrise, mountains, birds in flight, and overlooking the Wolfscratch Village area of Big Canoe.
Also on the main level is a spacious master bedroom with king sized pine poster bed and comfortable furnishings including TV/DVD. The private tiled bath has double vanities with granite counters, whirlpool tub and separate shower.
From the main living area, a door leads to the charming screened porch with another stone fireplace. It is the perfect place to relax and read a book or enjoy the wood-burning fireplace with other guests and blankets on a cool evening. During the warmer months, this porch always seems to have a nice breeze and there's also a ceiling fan!
Out to the deck with gas grill, dining table & chairs, plus chairs for sunning, you will enjoy relaxing there with a glass of wine or dining alfresco.
Upstairs is the other Master Suite with King-size bed and spacious granite and tile bath with walk-in separate shower. Just outside this suite is a loft area that overlooks the great room and has one of the best views in the house. The daybed with trundle provides comfortable sleeping for 2 people. It's the perfect place to read or daydream. You'll also find a desk there in the event you need to work or take advantage of the WiFi DSL service (Free!).
The lower level features another living/media area with big screen TV, DVD player and comfortable leather furniture. The two bedrooms on this level are: a Queen-size bed and Twin beds. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom.
Outside is another spacious deck with deck swing and covered deck area. The home has five televisions, DVD players, CD player, laundry room and two fireplaces(gas logs inside/wood-burning outside-wood provided). If you must work while here, bring your laptop and use the free wireless DSL service.
Best of all, the location is wonderful for adults and children! You can walk down the hill to the lake (beach), pool, water-slide, and fitness center. Just down the street is a gazebo for picnics and entrance to some wonderful trails...up to the lower and upper waterfalls or to the lake. The Wolfscratch Village is literally within walking distance or a quick drive for groceries, snacks, post office, Piazza Restaurant and more.
Whether you are looking for the perfect place to relax and "escape" or coming for a wedding or family vacation, "Treehouse Lodge" at Big Canoe will be your perfect "home away from home".
