Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 1992
I am a Human Resources Recruiter in Kamloops, BC, I love the water and spend as much time as i can on the Lake when not travelling. I love to share my piece of paradise with families when i am unable to use my cabin.
Why the Owner Chose Sicamous
After spending almost 10 years Boating on the Shuswap, a rustic cabin came available and that was that. In 1992 we started renovations and additions, and continue every year updating or adding a building, dock etc. Formerly from Calgary, we would travel every other weekend to be on the lake, I learned to Love and respect this peace and quite time with the lull of the water putting me to sleep, after of course a full day of watching skiers and tubers.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
The 42' dock is definately a plus, i enjoy sun tanning and entertaining and the dock is definately a people pleaser. Fires in the firepit in the evening, cool shade for those that dont like the sun much, convenience store at the Narrows for most anything even SeaDo Rentals.

I buy a cabin vacation for my family every year and with our previous cabin rental not renting anymore we were happy to have had the opportunity of enjoying Cabin #55, my son and daughter in law and their two children 10 & 12 from Calgary enjoyed it as my son from Fort St. John did as well. It will be an annual rental again in 2009. Looking forward to good weather again.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy a side by side cabin rental. We so enjoyed the solar lighting system as we were used to candles in other rentals. The 42' dock was great for our two 30' cougar boats. The experience for our two families was fabulous. Great place, we want to book in January for 2008.

It was everything you said it would be, we really enjoyed getting the digital pictures prior to arrival so we could see where everyone could sleep etc. Thank you for the arrival wine, it was lovely. It was a nice experience being boat access only and was happy to rent a pontoon boat from Sea Dog Rentals in Sicamous for this very holiday. We had no problems and enjoyed our stay. From the Cayman Islands to Kamloops BC we thank you.

Thank you Again Karen for renting your cabin to our family. We enjoy the property, the lake, the new dock, new kitchen etc. We enjoyed puttering and chopping wood and doing odd jobs for you, like making the stone steps more stable, hanging your new solar panels to add juice to the wilderness lights. The second mooring also a bonus for extra boats. Thank you and we will be back for 1st two weeks in August 2008.

Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin for the 3rd year in a row. We had a great time - weather was fantastic. The fishing and swimming was great. Look forward to 2009. Oakey loved the doggy bed as we did the wine.

Thank you for letting us into your home away from home. What a great place to relax and enjoy. It's a kind of place that appeals to the kids, and those looking for romance and fun. Hope we can come back again.
