  The apartment itself has been recently renovated and is immaculate throughout, and benefits from new furniture, cable TV and WIFI. A further nice touch is a washing machine- very handy for beach towels etc. There is plenty of space for 2 people with a good sized bedroom leading off from a spacious living/kitchen space. The bathroom is fresh with a good shower. The apartment is on the 4th floor overlooking the marina which gives a spectacular evening view. There is a lift that takes you from the 1st floor to the 4th. There must be at least 50 restaurants/bars as well as bakeries and supermarkets within a 2 minute walk of the flat- you will not go hungry! There is plenty to do in Marseille, well equipped beaches (with free toilets, showers, and safe storage) a 10 min drive (or bus ride away), boat excursions, markets, nearby Provence countryside etc etc. The city is well geared up for tourists. I found Marseille very easy to drive around. There is plenty of nearby underground parking which costs around 10 euros per 24 hours. As the apartment is right in the city centre, as one would it expect, it can be a little noisy, but it wasn't too intrusive.

  This was a very modern, clean and new apartment. The central location was great. We could walk everywhere. And the view of the old port was perfect. Gwen was an amazing host who went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and to make sure that we arrived safely. Thanks for everything.

  appart très lumineux très agréable situation géographique stratégique pour tout faire à quelques minutes de tout A conseiller à tous ceux qui veulent passer un séjour d'exception à Marseille. Vivement un prochain séjour!!!

  appart neuf sécurisé moderne Emplacement idéal, service irréprochable, appartement agréable, très bon contact avec la propriétaire, judicieux conseils de visites. Je le conseille vivement pour tout types de séjour ! escalier et parties communes de l'immeuble rénové avec un cachet fou Appart conforme à la description sur le site nous reviendrons à Marseille et encore plus dans cet appart !! merci gwen pour cet accueil

  idéalement situé pour visiter la ville à 1 minute de l'office de tourisme accueil très sympa merci de tous vos conseils très beau beau rapport qualité prix A notre disposition dans l'appartement, nous avions pour notre séjour différentes carte de restaurants, des plans de la ville ou brochures pour nous guider dans nos visites. bravo pour la déco, bravissimmo pour cette vue a bientot !!

  accueil très sympa, comme sur les photos vraiment proche de tout, tout est possible à pied bus, métro et bateau de croisière au pied de l'immeuble appartement de grande classe vue de folie merci nous reviendrons

  We spent a wonderful week in Marseille and this appartment was the perfect base to explore the city. The appartment is freshly renovated, clean, comfortable and - considering it being in the middle of the city - quiet, It sleeps two comfortably. The sofa can be turned into a bed and is comfortable as well but with more than two people it tends to get a bit crowded. Gwen was a great host, responding quickly to any needs. He made us feel really welcome. Tank you for that. The appartment's location can only be described as perfect: the old port (vieux port) is at your doorstep, Subway and bus station as well as the departure point of the ferries to the Frioul islands and l'île d'If less than five minutes on foot away, shops, retaurants, cozy squares or the busteling of Canebière Street just around the corner. Do not miss the fish market and the marché des capucins to take in some of lively Marseille and to buy fresh food, To make it short: We recommend this appartment and Gwen as a host to anyone who wants to spend some time in Marseille. We are sure to return and there is no question as to where we will stay.
