What a wonderful place for a winter vacation! The house is decorated beautifully, the kitchen is well stocked with all the amenities, nice beds and bathrooms. It is spotless! The kids loved the x-box and the hot tub. Ice fishing was good, and we set up within walking distance to the house. Gary was very helpful, and made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend the scenic drive to Itaska State Park. This will be an annual trip for my family! Steve P.

Loon Landings was a perfect location to get away from it all. I have traveled to many places far and near, especially have visited many Minnesota, Canada Lakes and I have to say this would be my first pick to revisit. The lake water was probably the cleanest lake water I have ever been in. The accommodations were beautiful and offered privacy you don’t get at a resort. My favorite time was sitting on the deck early in the morning drinking coffee and listening to the loons and wild life while looking out at the lake. The view is incredible. Even if it’s raining there are so many windows facing the lake you feel like you can still enjoy the outdoors. Gary was very friendly and helpful. He made you feel like you were visiting family. The décor in the house made it feel very inviting and homey we definitely will be coming back next year. It’s a beautiful lake for fishing and swimming; the only draw back would be for water sports the lake goes from 3' in places to 115' or more. You would have to do a little research to safely be able to be pulling someone behind the boat at high speeds.

We really enjoyed our stay on Big Sand. Beautiful home and a beautiful lake. We saw many loon, deer and even a blue herron came flying in one of our last nights and stood right on the edge of the lawn. Gary was so nice to deal with and very helpful. The bottle of wine welcoming us was a very nice touch. Thank you again for sharing your home with us.
