We stayed in this condo from 11/25 through 11/30. We were a bit alarmed by the previous review (11/2010) that was posted right before we left. We called the owner due to our concerns after reading the other review and he assured us that we would love the place and we did! We felt the owner was quite helpful and he answered all our questions prior to arrival. The condo is quite spacious and the newly remodeled kitchen and baths were lovely. As far as aesthetics, the place could be improved by a fresh coat of paint, some artwork and new towels, but these things are very minor and we really enjoyed the condo! We grilled every night on the grill and ate out on the huge patio. Having central AC for sleeping was a huge plus! The grounds are immaculate and the beach is a mere 5-minute walk. The newly remodeled pool/kitchen/fitness area was amazing! There is a private grassy area with shaded lawn chairs, as well as the sandy beach. Snorkeling at this beach was the best we found on the island! Sea turtles, clown fish, angel fish, etc. Sunsets were stunning! The location can't be beat. We loved running along the beach front path and walked down to the fairmont to rent stand-up paddle boards. We were very happy here and would definitely rent this condo again!
Recommended for:People with disabilities, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children.

The listing was totally inaccurate about remodel. Only 3 photos exist because any more would have exposed the poor condition this unit is in. Closets were messy and stinky! Ants crawling on kitchen counter. Holes in bath towels! Cupboard stuffed with food. Bed sheets cheap and in poor condition. Barbeque rusted and not used in years. Overall cleanliness very poor, dirty and grimy! Owner difficult to deal with and would not address the concerns! Will recommend to VRBO to remove listing and save other people huge disappointment!l
Owner response:This review is a total misrepresentation---I met with her @ the condo & went over every complaint---1 towel had a small hole the maid overlooked--11 other perfect towels----utility closet did not smell---condo was not grimy-- cabinets had spices, salt pepper & some assorted staples--that most renters want---I saw no ants & she said some were there yesterday---in her complaint she says the unit is in poor condition--it is a new remodel with travertine floors & granite counters--Barbecue obviously in good condition per other review-------condo is always cleaned by professional housekeepers for 4 hours prior to any arrival --condo is always rented-----This is the only complaint I have had in renting the unit in 4 years-----Please see subsequent review---it is real----mahalo
