LET ME START BY SAYING THIS, MY EXPERIENCE FAR EXCEEDS THE VIEW AND AMENITIES PROVIDED, WHICH I WILL GET TO IN A MOMENT, BUT FIRST, MY MOM LOST HER MOM AND BROTHER ALL IN THE SAME YEAR, AND HASNT BEEN TO VISIT HERE IN OVER 5 YRS. WE HAVE LIVED IN CORPUS CHRISTI 11 YRS NOW AND HAVE NEVER TAKEN THE TIME TO JUST GO STAY DOWN CLOSE TO THE ISLAND FOR A SMALL GETAWAY. WHILE MOM WAS HERE YOUR PLACE WAS SUGGESTED TO US AND WE JUMPED ON IT. OUR PLACE FACES THE COURTYARD WITH THE POOL , AND ALL I CAN SAY IS, WHO NEEDS A RESORT????WE HAD THE POOL OR WE COULD WALK ACROSS THE STREET EVERY DAY TO THE OCEAN AND SPEND AS MUCH OR AS LITTLE TIME AS WE WISHED....AND WE DID EXACTLY THAT! IT WAS BOTH ENERGIZING AND SPIRITUALLY THERAPUTIC. NOT ONLY WERE WE COMPLETELY RESTED, MY MOM SMILED THE WHOLE WEEKEND! I CANT WAIT TO TELL ALL MY FRIENDS ABOUT OUR STAY. SOMETIMES THANKS JUST ISNT ENOUGH, AND THIS IS SOMETIME! XXOO

Ruth was very nice to all of us, there were three of us staying at the condo. Everything was very clean and really big. Bedrooms were big and beautiful, and clean. The beds were great. Just like the pictures. The pool big and clean, and great for hot days that one might not want to be in the ocean. Had covered tables and places to BBQ food if need be. Everyone was so friendly too. Ruth was just so nice and made our stay great. She went out of her way to make our stay the greatest. The beaches our right across the street to. Yes, I would come again and tell all my friends. Thanks Ruth, your the greatest.

We had the pleasure of staying at the surfside condo, it was absolutely beautiful, the condo, the courtyard, the owner, the onsite manager. The condo is beautiful and felt so homey, very clean and beds were comfortable, we bbq'd in the courtyard and had everything in the kitchen you would need for meals. Ruth has really made you feel at home when you walk in the door, we had everything we needed right there. Plus we had Ruth the owner checking on us and informing of us the best places to eat and visit while we were visiting the island. I give it a excellent review and would recommend it to everyone. We will defiinelty be coming back again.

We just had a fantastic 8 day vacation in Padre Island and stayed at Ruth's condo! I absolutely loved the condo! It felt like home! The condo was much more than we expected. It was very spacious, clean and well-maintained. We had everything we needed and more. The kitchen had everything you could think of. Loved the frozen mugs! The pool was so nice and just a few steps away. We enjoyed having the beach so close also. We would definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to family and friends. Ruth was so helpful and recommended other places of interest with directions, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. We enjoyed sitting and visiting with other guest in the courtyard. I will never stay in a hotel when in the Corpus Christi area again. You can count on us to be back. Thanks for a great vacation, Ruth!

Our condo was great. It was very clean & spacious. The kitchen appliances all worked well. The location of the condo is just across the street from the beach which was totally awesome. Ruth was prompt & friendly. I recommend this condo to anyone who just wants to get away from the grind of the city.

Owner response:I try hard to keep the condo extra clean. IF something is in need of repair my maintenance man (husband) gets right on it.

This condo was clean & was just across from the beach. The 2 bedrooms were big enough & the bathroom was adequate. The kitchen was clean & the appliances worked well. I recommend this condo to anyone who just wants to get away from the grind of the city.

Our second wonderful weekend in two weeks. Ruth was so helpful in getting us a last minute booking for Easter weekend since we had enjoyed it the first weekend. I love the fact that it's much roomier than a hotel room; the couch is comfortable enough to fall asleep on and the pool is well taken care of. I love the beach and so glad the place is so convenient to the beach. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and help.

Quiet and Comfortable Trip

We just got back from staying at this condo and enjoyed it immensely. The two bedrooms were very comfy and nicely decorated. The kitchen is a nice size with more appliances than I could ever use. It was an easy walk to the beach and the pool was a nice area. Ruth was very helpful and checked in on us. Our doggie enjoyed the fact that the place shielded most all sound from the outside. We loved it so much, we're going back. Our new home away from home.

8/24/09: we had a great time in this location, very convenient to the beach. Ruth's condo is quite, very spacious, full of light, and has a well furnished kitchen. Perfect for a family, we will definitely return here in the future. Thanks Ruth! Dori, Austin
