The MOOSEHEAD CABIN at Granite Ridge is the perfect year-round spot for your Jackson Hole vacation. In the winter the cabin is a two minute walk from some of the finest skiing in the world, while in the summer you’re a five minute drive from the solitude of Grand Teton National Park. And, for those who enjoy being pampered, both the Four Seasons Resort and the Snake River Lodge & Spa are a short walk away.
The cabin itself is exquisitely appointed, with oriental rugs, custom-made wood furnishings, and paintings and other works of art throughout. Entering the cabin, the visitor proceeds through a gracious foyer, past a half bath, and into a perfectly proportioned great room. With a vaulted ceiling and an abundance of windows on three sides, the room feels at one with the beauty of its surroundings, complimented by honey-colored log walls and wood plank floors.
The room is anchored on one end by a kitchen, which is separated from the dining and sitting areas by a granite-topped island bar, and on the other end by a soaring picture window with dead-on views of the Tetons beyond. One side of the room has a large TV and full entertainment center next to a wood burning stone fireplace. The other side has doors leading to an expansive deck, complete with gas grille, picnic table, and Teton-facing hot tub. Included in the sitting group is a leather sleep sofa, perfect for children or visiting guests.
The second floor has a full laundry room and two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a queen bed, television, sitting area, and a dual vanity master bath equipped with a jetted soaking tub, two-headed shower, and enclosed water closet. The twin-bedded guest bedroom has its own private bathroom, also with two sinks. Both bedrooms open onto an outside patio, perfect for star gazing at any time of the year.
