At the foot of the hill, seals and dolphins play in your "front yard," and family-oriented Shamel Park is adjacent to Moonstone Beach. From there, the Red Trolley takes you into the rustic arts community of Cambria to enjoy antiquing, wine tasting, galleries, shops, and restaurants.
Hearst Castle is five miles away and just beyond that is Elephant Seal beach, Piedras Blancas Lighthouse and the entrance to Big Sur.
