This lovely and cozy apartment is on the second floor of an 18th Century building right in the heart of the beautiful village of Cernobbio on lake Como; just a two minutes walk away from the famous Villa d’Este , one of The Leading Hotels of The World, and the famous ‘Villa Erba’ once inhabited by Luchino Visconti’s.
The apartment is very elegant, comfortable and roomy, located in the old part of Cernobbio in a very quite position, and it has recently been complety rennovated.
If you are looking for a peacefull and relaxing holiday, it’s the perfect place for you.
The apartment is just 2 minutes walk away from the lake front, where whenever you like you can catch a ferry to the city or the north side of the lake like Bellaggio.
You can enjoy lovely lake front walks, and also walks up the mountains.
The apartment is also very close to several local restaurants, bars, grocery stores and charmings little shops.
It is also 10 minutes drive away from George Clooney’s ‘Villa Oleandra’ and the ‘Villa Fontanelle’ once inhabited by Gianni Versace.
Lake Como is really one of the most beautiful places in the world, and that’s why it’s been chosen as a corner of paradise by many people.
The city of Como, the silk capital of Italy, where you can find many silk and textile shops, is a 5 minutes drive away.
Milan with its two airports is just 40 kilometers away, and Switzerland is also a short drive away, you can reach the city of Lugano in just 30 minutes drive.
The area is very well connected you can move by ferry, buses and international train service.

  • My husband and I have stayed at this charming apartment more than once and plan to return. It's clean, comfortable, lovely and in the heart of our favorite town on our favorite lake. We can walk every where. The Cernobbians are friendly and interesting people.

  • We stayed for a week in this apartment and found it very comfortable. We were 4 adults and a 3 year old. The proprieter was very helpful, showing us a local bakery and short walk through the historic town to the lakefront where you can catch the lake boat and there are some childrens swings and things. The flat is furnished beautifully with antique looking furniture, some of which we were a little worried about with our 3 year old, but it seemed sturdy enough. The kitchen, although small is well equipped. The flat is very central to cernobbio, with an ice cream parlour and cash machine close by.
