  Spent 5 nights in this lovely apartment with my wife and 2 young kids (ages 3 and 1) in May 2013. Hassi is a wonderful host - giving us a tour of the old part of Cernobbio, arranging a taxi to the airport, providing baby gear - including a high chair, baby bed, and some toys for the kids, and making sure we were completely comfortable in his apartment. The apartment is a good size - 2 decent sized bedrooms, a good sized kitchen/dining/living room area, good sized bathroom with bathtub, nice balcony, and a good size loft. The beds were quite comfortable and the entire apartment is furnished very nicely. I was in Cernobbio for a work show and was very happy to return to the comforts of the apartment each night as I felt immediately at home. The location can't be beat, right in the heart of the old section of Cernobbio, it is mere steps from several great restaurants, a playground, many shops, and the Cernobbio ferry stop. Despite being close to everything, the street below the apartment has only light foot traffic. We can't wait to return next year!

  The apartment was soo lovely, spotless and very comfy. We had a great time. The owner was very helpful and gave us lots of hints on places to see, what to do, and where to eat, we felt just like locals. The location is brilliant, close to all the amenities in Cernobbio. We have been visiting lake Como many times, and this is our most favorite apartment. Highly recommended.

  This apartment is a wonderful place to stay - clean, comfortable, and with a proper kitchen, rather than a couple of rings and a few odd pans, as often happens in a holiday rental. It is even better than it looks in the photos. We had everything we needed for a happy holiday, and our children loved the little loft room, where they played, read and did drawing and colouring. The air-conditioners were efficient, it would be good to have one in the second bedroom as well. The bakery just steps from the apartment was a delight for breakfast, and Cernobbio has an excellent public swimming pool, perfect for afternoon swimming after a day out. Hassi is a great owner to deal with - from the swift replies to emails to the bottle of Prosecco in the fridge to welcome us, he couldn't have been more helpful. We really recommend this apartment and the general location for a Lake Como holiday.

  I travelled for their for the Villa de Este Car Show with two of my girlfriends in May of 2011. It was the most charming apartment in the center of town. Hassi (the owner) was more than accomodating and went above and beyond in making our stay fantastic from meeting us in the middle of the night to get the keys to helping us in anyway we needed. Before we left town each day, we would stop by his shop that was right around the corner to say Ciao! The description of this apartment is perfect! If i return to Cernobbio, I would love to stay again (next time, I am taking my husband)! Walking distance to everthing and we always felt very safe. Thank you Hassi for making this a trip of a lifetime! Hope to see you again soon! Only negative comment.... we never got to see George Clooney:) Next time!!!

  This was my 4th trip to Cernobbio and first stay at this wonderful apartment. One of our most memorable vacations. I will rent this apartment again.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Australians at Lake Como - what a beautiful place and where better to stay than at this apartment. It suited our needs to the ground and our host just had to be the best. He was so helpful with all of our needs and in particular when our luggage took 2 days to arrive after changing planes at Heathrow. It is close to everything, the Village Shops, cafes and restaurants including an excellent restaurant on the ground floor, and the ferry terminal. We will be back in 2013 (for the same reason that took us there in 2010) and would not dream of accommodating ourselves elsewhere.

  My husband and I have stayed at this charming apartment more than once and plan to return. It's clean, comfortable, lovely and in the heart of our favorite town on our favorite lake. We can walk every where. The Cernobbians are friendly and interesting people.

  We stayed for a week in this apartment and found it very comfortable. We were 4 adults and a 3 year old. The proprieter was very helpful, showing us a local bakery and short walk through the historic town to the lakefront where you can catch the lake boat and there are some childrens swings and things. The flat is furnished beautifully with antique looking furniture, some of which we were a little worried about with our 3 year old, but it seemed sturdy enough. The kitchen, although small is well equipped. The flat is very central to cernobbio, with an ice cream parlour and cash machine close by.

Minimum stay one week.Our usual changeover day is Saturday check in after 3:00 pm.
In the summer months air conditioning is available at additional 50 euro per week.
In the winter there is an additional 50 euro per week charged to cover heating gas
