Welcome to the sleepy little town of Waddington, located midway between Ogdensburg and Massena in the St. Lawrence river valley. A boaters' paradise, Waddington has much to offer visitors coming to the Thousand Islands region of upstate New York. Located in town are two public boat launches and parks, also a public beach.
Feel as though you've stepped back in time as you drive through the quaint village and yet enjoy all the amenities of modern living in a town that has much to offer within close proximity or just a short drive away.
By day enjoy the majestic St.Lawrence river and Coles Creek State Park area. Perhaps take a day trip to Canada via the International bridges in Ogdensburg or Massena.
In the evening enjoy a night out at the local eateries,or take in a movie or some bowling, etc.. Maybe if you're feeling lucky, you can take a drive to the Akwesasne Reservation and visit the Casinos. Also within easy driving distance are the (seasonal)Thousand Island boat tours in Alexandria Bay, the Eisenhower locks and Seaway,including Barnhart Island State Park, and also,the mountains in world-famous Adirondack State Park.
