Seabrook Island is a private 2200 acre resort community located just 21 miles from historic Charleston. With over three miles of pristine beach, breathtaking marsh vistas and a lush maritime forest, the emphasis at Seabrook is a beautiful natural setting, perfect for a family, golf or tennis vacation; also great for a reunion or wedding.
Rental of this unit will allow access to two scenic and very well-kept championship golf courses, a nationally ranked tennis center, horseback riding, a fitness center, swimming pools, and many other world-class amenities. Seabrook Island Club has opened all new beach facilities where you can enjoy the beach-side fun family pool, or the olympic size adult pool. Lounge in a chair on the sand or hard surface and enjoy the beauty--whichever you prefer. The newly renovated outdoor restaurant and bar by the beach (The Pelican's Nest) is a great place to relax after a day at the pool or beach. Seabrook Island Club facilities can only be accessed if you have an amenity card. Rental of this unit will allow you access to these wonderful facilities.
Shopping and dining at Freshfields Village, Club facilities and Bohicket Marina Village offer all the conveniences of home within a very special water-oriented resort setting. The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island is less than five minutes away.
This recently updated villa is a two story unit (town-house) that occupies the second and third floors; the living area and a half bath are on the lower level, with bedrooms and two full baths on the upper level. The main level has a large living room/dining room area, half bath and full kitchen (with all new stainless steel appliances--stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher--new maple cabinets,silestone countertops and all other kitchen accessories). The new sofa will make into a queen-size bed to sleep extra people. Expanded cable television including ESPN, DVD/VCR/CD players are included in the unit. We have just added a 40" flat screen TV in the living room for your enjoyment. The living room leads onto a large screened porch with an amazing view of the marsh.
The upstairs features a large master suite with a full bath and large screened porch that boasts a stunning marsh view. The master bedroom has a new King size bed and a flat screen TV with cable access. The second bedroom has a private bath and a nice view of the lagoon and pool. This room has a queen size bed, as well as a twin air mattress if needed. We have added cable and a new flat screen TV to the second bedroom. Washer and dryer are available upstairs.
If you are a nature lover, this unit is perfect for you! The marsh view boasts wonderful sightings of great blue herons and other water fowl, as well as a variety of other animal life. Painted buntings, tanagers and many other colorful birds can be seen in the oak trees near the porches. Raccoons, fox and other animals can be seen near the marsh, and deer and alligators are frequently seen throughout the island. Sunrises and sunsets can be enjoyed from either screened porch. Binoculars are furnished in the unit, so you can enjoy the amazing sights in the privacy of your own screened porches.
This is the perfect place to enjoy a stress-free and relaxing vacation. Tennis courts and the equestrian center are very close by, and this complex has it's own private swimming pool. The beach is a very short drive or bike ride away, with plenty of parking available. Bike rental is available; this is a great way to see the island.

- Seabrook Island Club Passes are included with weekly rental of this unit. These passes allow full access to club facilities, pools, golf, tennis, etc. We now have a King bed in master bedroom, and a queen bed in the second bedroom. There is a twin size air mattress available for use in the second bedroom. The sleeper sofa also is a queen size bed.

Being Floridians, my husband and I both missed the beach after we moved to South Carolina. Once we had a child, we wanted her to love the beach like we did. She was our inspiration for buying a place at the beach. Seeing her love for the beach and the enjoyment she receives when we visit Seabrook is very rewarding for us.
Why the Owner Chose Racquet Club Villas
We were fortunate to visit our neighbors' place at Seabrook a couple of times and quickly fell in love with the beautiful, tranquil setting. We were amazed at how beautiful the island is, and the non-touristy atmosphere (unlike many SC and FL beaches). We love the beach, but also love the marsh and wooded areas that allow frequent sightings of interesting birds, deer and other wildlife. Seabrook is very close to Charleston and the big city life, yet it seems so far away since it is so peaceful. Easy access from upstate SC, Columbia, Charlotte, Atlanta and other major cities was another draw. After we saw the enjoyment in our daughter's face when she was playing on the beach, splashing in the water, or the excitement when she saw a dolphin jump for the first time--we were hooked and knew Seabrook Island is where we would purchase our home away from home.
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
Our favorite time on the island is early mornings out on our screened porch where we drink coffee and enjoy the beauty of the marsh and the wildlife and beautiful birds that inhabit it. Watching the beautiful Carolina sunset from the porch or on the beach is a relaxing way to end the day. Being the "Gators" that we are, we enjoy counting alligators in the ponds out on Jenkins Point. In the springtime, it is fun to watch the baby alligators grow and begin to swim. We have seen baby herons grow and learn to fly. One of our daughter's favorite sightings was a baby fawn with the mother deer. Bicycles have been a great investment--we have spent many hours exploring the island via bicycles. (Great exercise and fun, too!) We have seen many interesting birds from our porches, and look forward to seeing the painted buntings each spring. We provide binoculars in our villa so renters can enjoy birdwatching if interested. Our place has everything you need to spend a relaxing week. Bring your clothes, some groceries and some sunscreen and you'll be ready to relax and love Seabrook Island like we do. Y'all come visit us soon!

We had the best vacation ever and the villa is so beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. The best part was enjoying the view of the marsh and river from the two decks. This is one of the best vacations we have had and we are definitely going to stay here again.

This is a great place to stay. Both screened decks had great views of large oaks and the marsh. We had plenty of room in this well furnished villa. We were very close to the pool and lagoon area. We would definetly stay here again Great Stay!!

Love, love, love this unit. Excellent location - you can walk to small private unit pool or tennis courts, or take short drive to market, large pool and beach. Decorated tastefully and very clean. Kitchen has all tools if you decide to stay in, cook, and take advantage of the wonderful view off the screened decks of the marsh wildlife. Unit had everything we could have wanted (including binoculars). Owner was very pleasant and communicative. Intend to stay in this unit again in the future.
