Why the Owner Chose Kailua
I chose to buy a vacation rental at Kailua Beach, Hawaii so I would be able to share the amazing Windward side of Oahu to Guests who would otherwise might only get to enjoy Waikiki Hotels. Hawaii has so much more to offer then the hustle and bustle of Waikiki city. Our Kailua is a Tropical wonder with so much to do and experience. Kailua Beach rated in the top 10 beaches of the world is just a short walk from our lovely Hawaiian Suite.

Relaxing on the patio at this Kailua beach vacation rental - Tropical Sands Luxury Suite with the Kukui nut tree umbrella overhead feeling the cool ocean breeze should not be missed. The fountain feature adds the soothing movement of water that deepens relaxation. Nestled inside the property the Suite is enveloped with tropical foliage and very private for your pleasure. Upon entering the Suite you will be very pleased to find an extremely clean and comfortable unit to call your own while vacationing. Tropical Sands is stocked very well and the local furnishings are extremely comfortable. The experience is one that should not be missed.
Great Market to get a cup of morning coffee or breakfast burrito from their deli, and cruise out to beach. They have a nice wine selection also.
What a fun trip this is to rent the kayaks and take a paddle out here. Snorkeling, exploring, experiencing.
Swim with the Dolphins and see large underwater tanks with the local marine life. Great day adventure
Most always a great place to snorkle. You watch a video before going down to the bay, but the video is informative and interesting.

Aloha, My name is Kim Roesler(on the Right) I have been a long term Hawaii Resident and am so Happy to be able to share part of Kailua with you. My Husband and I moved into this amazing home in 2006 and knew right away what we were going to do with the Suite next door. We are located in the perfect spot here in Kailua as we are very close to the Magnificant Kailua Beach and Quaint Kailua Town. We are located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac which makes our property a sanctuary. I have truely come to know the Laid Back style that Kailua brings as daily walks along the shore, or swimming to flat Island cause in ones life. The local hiking is not one to miss, and I take advantage of really getting to know the Island as often as I can. I Love to share my Property with Guests as a way of sharing Aloha.

My husband and I stayed at the Tropical Sands Suite for a week and just loved it! The outside garden and lanai were just perfect for morning coffee and evening meals. We were able to have guests over for dinner, use the BBQ, and relax amid tropical greenery and listening to the sounds of a water fountain. The walk to the beach was great, and the cottage was close to downtown Kailua. The Thursday open market was just steps away! We would recommend this location to our friends as the rental was lovely, well maintained and clean - we had everything we needed for our vacation! The washer and dryer were an added plus, too, so you can pack light! Thanks, Kim!

This was my 5th visit to Oahu and by far my best. The accomodations and the location of staying in Kailua was a great decision. To our gracious hosts, thank you does not seem to say enough for your great hospitality and graciousness in sharing your part of paradise with us. I appreciate that you made sure we had everything we needed. Next year will not come soon enough but we will certainly see you when it does finally roll around. Aloha and Mahalo!

We stayed at the Tropical Sands Luxury Suite for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The suite was extremely clean, comfortable and was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The tropical patio with the BBQ was perfect and relaxing. We really enjoyed the 10-minute walk to the beautiful Kailua beach. The beach chairs and cooler were extremely handy. Our hosts Kim and Richard were very welcoming and hospitable. We cannot wait to return back to Kailua and would definitely recommend staying at the Tropical Sands Luxury Suite. Mahalo!

My husband and I spent a week in March at this guest house. It was clean and cozy. It was equipped with everything we needed. We loved waking up in the mornings hearing all the birds and leaves rustling in the breeze. We were close to stores, restaurants & the beach. We would highly recommend this property and if we find ourselves back on Oahu, we would love to stay there again.

We had a wonderful month here..only reason we are not returning for 3 months is we need a little more space for that length of time. I would recommend it to everyone...location great.walk to everything....owner delightful..pictures are exact and the garden is fantastic.
