Why the Owner Chose Sunsuite Studios
Mark grew up vacationing on Fripp Island with his family. Once we were married, the two of us began vacationing there together. We always joked we'd retire on Fripp one day, but we never imagined we'd be able to buy our very own Fripp place so soon. It's wonderful to have a place where we can escape the pressures of everyday life!

We've traveled from coast to coast and to beaches throughout the Caribbean, but there's no place in the world quite like Fripp Island. We love hopping on a golf cart and traveling the roads through the marsh to spot shore birds, and there's nothing better than watching the sunset at the end of Tarpon Boulevard. It's wonderful to spend lazy days on the beach without only a handful of other people – and sometimes no one at all! – as far as the eye can see. And of course, there's the delicious dinners at The Beach Club and Bonito Boathouse -- where you might even see Pat Conroy.

Hello! We're Mark and Amy Stevens from Erwin, Tenn. We've been married 14 years and have spent many happy days vacationing at our Sunsuite on Fripp Island in South Carolina. Buying our Sunsuite was a dream come true, and it's one of the best decisions we've ever made. We completely renovated and redecorated our little condo (with the help of family and friends!), and we still love looking for nautical collectibles to add our personal touch to the decor. We hope you'll consider staying in our little place by the sea!
