Two of these lovely homes are walk-on beachfront, the Dowry House is across the lane from the set of stairs down to the beach. Dowry House and Tantramar are heritage cottages, carefully restored back to the original character with front porches, decks, and Victorian gardens. Seagates is a tastefully furnished home on a large piece of property right on Vesuvius Beach featuring three bedrooms, 2 baths and huge deck.
The homes are within a five minute walk from each other, the Vesuvius Bay Store, ferry, restaurant, and public boat docks. All three include amenities such as down quilts/pillows and woodburning fireplaces but not TVs or VCRs. Seagates and Tantramar have wireless internet.
Families and pets (with vacuum-friendly owners) welcome at Tantramar and the Dowry House although due to an enforced bylaw pets are not allowed on the beach from June 15 through September 15. Pets are not allowed at Seagates. Careful smoking on the porches only.
