Windows, Plenty of Light, across from Seine & Josephine's Manoir
Location: Croissy-sur-Seine, Ile-de-France (Paris Area), France, Europe (15 Minutes to Paris by Subway & 30 minutes to Airport by Car)
Accommodations: Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Convertible Bed(s), 1 Bath (Sleeps 4)
Live a short 15 minutes from Paris and enjoy the charm of The Impressionists' Historic Village of Croissy-Sur-Seine. From the many windows in your spacious apartment you can contemplate life on the Seine River and recall the many Impressionists' paintings with the same view they painted. In fact, next door from the beautiful gardens surrounding your apartment, is Napoleon's wife Josephine's home now The Museum of the Grenouillère, with its permanent collection of Monet and Renoir paintings and engravings created there in 1869.
On the opposite side is the charming 12C Chapelle St. Leonard, where Napoleon and Josephine were married, featuring it's own collection of paintings. A "promenade" along the charming path that follows the Seine transports you back in time. The upscale village center, a short walk from the apartment, has its Open Market, shops, bakeries, boucher, restaurants, pharmacies, etc--French Village Life in all its splendor!
The light and airy apartment has been lovingly restored while respecting its history and charm. The building is officially classifed because of the art work in the entry, and some of the vintage furnishings reflect the 50's style of the building, and others reflect the talented craftsmanship and creative style of the owner. The bathroom with its large soaking tub/shower is splendiferous with Biazza, Italian glass mosaique tiles. The bedroom is comfortable and warm with oak accents and a large king size bed. The main living area feels much like an artist's studio with windows its entire length.
There you will find a sofa bed that opens to a comfortable double bed, a generous sized desk to check your e-mails, and the dining area and table. Your kitchen, again with more windows and a lot of light is fully equipped. The apartment has plenty of parking and is a quick drive or Subway ride to the heart of Paris and CDG Airport.
Soak up the Impressionists' ambience and enjoy the peaceful life along the Seine after a day of site seeing and shopping in Paris!

We enjoued our stay in this appartment. Everuthing was just as it was described. We, four grown up people, find it comfortable, well equipped, good position and surrounding. It was a pleasure, after a whole day spent in Paris, to come back and rest there.Information and instructions that we got from the owners prior to our arrival were useful.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed with interesting art and attention to detail. The river Seine is a stone's throw away and the village of Croissy-sur-Seine is charming. There were street markets on both Saturday and Sunday during our stay in early October. We took the owner's advise and had a memorable meal at Maison Fournaise on the Isle des Impressionnistes - you almost feel a part of Renoir's painting 'The Luncheon of the Boating Party' as you recognize the details around you...and the food is good too! Paris was a breeze by train and nicely balanced by the serenity of Croissy-sur-Seine. I genuinely recommend this apartment and hope to visit again.

The accommodations were perfect. It became my home away from home for two weeks. Clean, comfortable, and reasonable rate. Paris was "next door". Croissy is a delight. The neighboring villages are full of things to do and places to see. The area is full of history, art, and beauty. And the apartment management is responsive to questions and/or concerns. It was a great experience to stay here!

We very much enjoyed our stay at your apartment. It was very well equipped, bright and spacious, just as advertised. Our daily walks to and from the RER station along the river were enjoyable. It was so easy to get into Paris and other places from there. And we enjoyed the quiet in the evenings after the busy days in Paris! We'd definitely stay there again if we have the opportunity.

Our stay in the apartment was wonderful. Our daughter, son-in-law, and grandaugter live in Croissy S/Seine and only a 15 minute walk away. The apartment is very convenient, comfortable, and well maintained. Our stay was too short, but we hope to return next year.

The apartment was perfect for our needs. A short distance from Croissy shops and resturants, a block from a beautiful walk on the Seine. It was everything we needed. Having fresh linens, toilet paper and soap, etc. saved us from immediately shopping for essentials after a long trip. I heartily recommend this apartment for it's convenient location, space, and comfort. Thank you for being exactly what was represented on line. We had a wonderful time in France and also enjoyed the books!

This was a most delightful home away from home. Spacious, well kept and comfortable, it made our visit to Paris a delight. The walk along the Seine to the RER train station was a wonderful way to begin and end each trip into Paris. This will definately be our place to stay when we visit Paris again.

Our stays in Paris over the years have always been great but this was special. The well kept and spacious apartment provided an excellent home base for our family. The Croissy area was very pleasant with walks on the Seine, an Impressionists fete and only a short hop to a friends house. With Paris only 30minutes by RER & Metro we were spoilt for choice...the city, Croissy area, Saint Germaine en Lay etc. Definitely worthwhile!

Enjoyed my two weeks at this lovely apartment. Beautiful village -- Best Crossiants I had in France at the Boulangerie in the village center. Well equipped kitchen and close to the trains for a 20 minute trip to the center of the city
