Welcome to Starboard Cottage. This oceanfront cottage is just steps away from the sand. Located in the Killegray Ridge area, you can enjoy the amenities of the South and East Beach in a family friendly environment.
Starboard Cottage has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. On the first floor, you have brand new gourmet granite kitchen for the chef, a dining and living room area, and screened in porch.
On the second floor, there are two bedrooms, one with queen and the other with two twin beds. The master bedroom is on the second floor, and it has an outdoor deck with gorgeous ocean views.
The third floor has the remaining bedroom with ample closet space, a double bed with sky lights and a twin bed with trundle. The comfortable and private crofter has a queen bed.
Starboard Cottage has its own boardwalk and beach access. In seconds, you can be on the beach or take the six passenger golf cart and explore the beautiful island. The home is a duplex and a separate living area is in the crofter. The design is such that you will not notice your neighbors. In the award winning Killegray area, the design of the units are such that the homes are in small clusters and have their own beach access. It feels private and comfortable. Temporary membership to luxurious Shoal's is provided. Temporary membership to the Bald Head Island Club is available upon request.

- Bald Head Island has many attractions for everyone from the nature enthusiast to those learning to walk, The natural beauty of the Island is breathtaking with miles of white sandy beaches, maritime forests, marshes, and tidal creeks, Add a thoughtfully planned community, luxurious country clubs, and you have the perfect vacation paradise, The Nature conservancy has programs for old and young alike such as the famous night "Turtle Walk" and bird watch, For the more adventurous, one can hike the many forest trails, kayak the creeks, bike the car free roads, or set out on the East Beach where one can walk for miles without sight of any civilization, If that is not your cup of tea, head out to one of the Bald Head Island clubs to swim, play tennis, work out, or enjoy fine dining, There are several other restaurants and shops on the Island as well as historic Southport, but your favorite meals will probably be the ones you have at the Starboard Cottage with family and friends
