  This was our second trip to Villa El Encanto. Once was in late October 2011 and this second time in early May. Each time the weather was beautiful, but I have to admit the season for fresh mango’s and abundance of mango trees put the icing on the cake this last trip. During this trip we ventured out of Rincon a bit more than the first trip. We went to the Camuy Caverns/Caves and also into Mayaguez and a trip up into the mountains in Maricao. But I think the most enjoyable part was being able to jump in the pool at any time of day. There was plenty of sunshine, but lot’s of shaded areas at all times of the day, which were particularly pleasing to my husband. Even sitting on the veranda during a brief shower was restful and the rainbow over Aguada & Aguadilla was a bonus. The Villa was everything I expected and more. I love the fact that you were so close to the beach, but had the privacy and feel of a neighborhood with the neighbors being far enough away from you. The property is beautifully landscaped and private. The pool enticed you to stay put and relax and not even bother to go to the beach. But with the beach so close, you wanted to do both. Sitting by the pool and seeing the Caribbean Ocean was a great feeling. I would definitely return and highly recommend it whenever I get the opportunity to talk about my vacation there. The fact that you can have a group in the large villa and an even larger group if you use both the Villa and the Villita and have your privacy. The Villa is kept spotless and so spaciously comfortable – even with a full house on our first trip. There are plenty of places to sit and read if you want to get away from the group and yet plenty of seating if you prefer to be together. The swing seat is the best place to read if you want to be alone. I can’t think of what I would change in the Villa to improve it… it was all you might want or need for your vacation.   We had such a lovely time in your beautiful house in Rincon! The landscaping of the grounds and pool were exceptionally beautiful, and the views are remarkable. The pictures do not do it justice. The house is perfectly comfortable and clean, and served our purposes perfectly. The kids had a wonderful time as well, romping in the pool and yard, and reading under the covered deck during the midday sun. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay, and we look forward to many visits in the future. KM from New York

  Our family had a most enjoyable holiiday week staying at Villa El Encanto. As you know we were in Rincon to celebrate our childrens wedding.The villa is located close to all the local beaches and hot spots but still a beautiful and very private retreat to get away from it all with a gorgeous view! I must say my favorite time of day was to drink my morning coffee by the pool trying to spot a resident iguana. Hope to visit again in the not too distant future. JG

  We returned to Villa El Encanto because our last visit was so fantastic we could not wait to get back. The place is kept immaculately clean and expertly maintained. The owner has gone to great lengths to make sure that your experience at Villa El Encanto is top notch, providing you and your family with a fabulous vacation. The furnishings, well appointed rooms, amenities, grounds, great pool and the amazing views will certainly make this jewel in Puerto Rico the best vacation ever. We will certainly go back soon and highly recommend it to our family and friends.

  Helen, thanks we did return safely. Comments: Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa El Encanto. The villa layout, quality, decorations and amenities exceeded our expectations. I’ve stayed in many owner rented properties throughout the US and the Caribbean and found Villa El Encanto to be more comfortable and well equipped for travelers like our family that desire comfortable accommodations while on vacation. We enjoyed the deck, pool area and well-manicured grounds especially with the breeze that keeps the temperatures down. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is situated so you never know you have neighbors. You can lounge in the pool and hear the waves splashing at the beach. We hope to be able to visit again soon. Suggestions: The king bed is a little too firm and if I am able to stay again I would request if the landscaper can come before my visit since I am allergic to cut grass. I really appreciated the “real” couch since the patio furniture tend to be too low and irritates my back. Thanks and hope you have a great Christmas. P.S. We tried the restaurants you recommended and they were great suggestions. JM

  Just got back from a wonderful stay Villa El Encanto, a little slice of heaven nestled on a hilltop overlooking the Atlantic. Sitting on the patio or at the kitchen counter enjoying breakfast looking at the most beautiful view was the best ever, enjoyed every minute. The pool was so inviting on the hot sunny days, and the 3 beaches just down the hill were great,( one a beautiful little cove), found some beautiful shells, and the water was soo warm. If you love to surf, this is a great place. the Villa was very clean, nicely furnished, well kept, and had every thing we needed, you could cook, grill, or go to the many restaurants close by. Found a great bakery, on the plaza in the nearby town center. Hated to go home and can't wait to go again!! Elaine ZT

  Villa El Encanto was the right way to do Rincon. The quality of the structure, the amenities, and the spectacular views set Villa El Encanto par excellance. We really enjoyed the motorized gate which gave us sense of seculsion and peace of mind. The concrete wall surround, which didn't impede the breathtaking view of the Atlantic, gave us the ability to enjoy the backyard and pool, without worry of any unwanted eyes. Complete privacy! The trees strategically placed around the property were filled with tropical birds, which were a beautiful sight to see and hear. The ability to scratch the internet itch with the wireless network availabilty and the satelitte TV connection, were nice to have when we wanted to watch the game for a break. The grass yard was meticulously manicured as was the rest of the flower beds. From the covered porch on the reclining lawn chairs we watch the daily (5 minute) shower form as the clouds rolled in from the ocean. Breathtaking. We sat there thinking about how we could retire in Rincon in a place like Villa De Encanto... For now we will just have to settle for planning our next trip back! S.F. & F.F., Houston, Texas

  The Villa Encanto was a most beautiful place to be. Perched on a mountain, the view is breathtaking with a very nice outside pool with small kitchen and bathroom attached to the pool house! The Villa has plenty of space to spread out, and a fairly short, picturesque drive away from food, drink, retail and Puerto Rican culture. Natives very welcoming ! I liked it so much that I'm going back !!
