What can I say? My wife and I absolutely loved this condo. It was well appointed, everything worked, beds were comfy, place was clean. Then there's the lanai....wow!!! The views are simply breath-taking, no joke, absolutely stunning. The grounds are well maintained, the guards & maintenance people were all very friendly and easy to talk with. Papaoneone Beach (turtle beach, whatever you call it)...it's like the lania, too good to be true...quiet, fun waves and, when calm, good snorkeling but you need to go about a hundred yards out for clarity (it's worth heading down to electric beach for some classic blue water snorkels). We had a hard time leaving and always couldn't wait to get back to the condo for a cold beer and sunset on the lanai. Location? We totally fell in love with Waiana'e! Can't wait to go back. Everyone we talked too was quick to smile and shoot the breeze. The place is a breath of fresh air ofter the zoo of Waikiki. The mountains are a beautiful backdrop. On major drawback is the restaurant scene...it doesn't exist! You got 2 choices repeatedly....fast food, cook at home (Costco on H2 is convenient). You got 2 choices to drive to occasioanly...Hanarras (good local food) and Kahumanu (sp?) Organic Farms (exceptional food). Other than that, drive to Ko Olina or further (Roy's Ko Olina is too die for!). Been avoiding Oahu for years, big mistake, the Hawaiian Princess is our new favorite. I hate not being there!

We loved the condo and the way it was set up so that you can hear the surf and the sunsets in the living room. Even have a conch shell that I learned to blow with the natives at sunset each day.. Whats missing...There were No tools to be able to use the bbq down stairs and No first aid kit or even bandaids. On the other hand it was well stocked for anything that you wanted to cook with pots and pans, serving dishes, chilled mugs and lots of ice, towels and the handy washer and dryer. Other than that it was clean, and steps away from the most beautiful snokeling, with turtles and fish everywhere.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the private beach life. The accommodations are accurately depicted in the pictures. Listening to the ocean waves at night and eating on the balcony overlooking the ocean was fantastik. We saw a whale spout one evening and came close to the turtles in the cove. We would stay here in a heartbeat again.

The amazing swim I had on my last day during which I was the only one in the cove, sharing the water most notably with 2 beautiful sea turtles was just icing on the cake. The condo was great - comfortable, clean, with everything I needed. Thank you for a great stay!

We were here for two weeks and enjoyed every day. The unit is in need of some TLC but for the price it was great and we made good use of the beach toys, BBQ and kitchen. The bed was comfortable and everything we needed was available. The unit is exactly as pictured. Saw turtles every day and were able to snorkel every day but one (due to larger waves that day). The sea life was plentiful and gorgeous and there was plenty of room on the beach to spread out and relax. The Hawaiian Princess felt totally safe and secure and when we were out exploring the island it was nice to know that we had a wonderful, friendly place to come back to. Yes, it's a drive to get anywhere, but well worth the extra drive time.

We have come to the end of our wonderful 2 week vacation in Hawaii, spending time in Waikiki, Makaha and the Big Island and our 4 night stay in this condo was the most peaceful and special time of all. The view and the beach are SPECTACULAR and took our breath away. The Hawaiian Princess is a quiet, residential well kept up building and the people are so friendly and warm and welcoming. The condo was great and it met all of our needs and more. The pictures are exactly what we found and it was a wonderful place to relax and read and swim and hike and enjoy the less crowded part of Oahu. To have all the amenities from beach chairs to boogies boards to salt and pepper and cable TV was a huge draw for us. While this condo is not a brand new condo with granite countertops and all the latest bling, it is warm, cozy and perfect for a relaxed beach get-a-way and we would highly recommend it to everyone. We are already looking to find another time to get away from the Seattle rain and enjoy this condo again! Thanks much! Karl and Kathy Groen

This condo facility offers all amenities you need to stay at the perfect get-a-way. The Makaha location is a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle, but that is what we loved. And with Target, Costco, and all other key shopping less than 20 minutes away, you really don't need anything more. The unit is a little dated, but clean and provides everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and appliances. Once you enter the parking lot, you really become part of a resort almost, and the first time you step off the elevator it is breath taking, and excites you to get setttled in and get down to the beach. The condo has plenty of supplies for doing all those fun beach activities and coolers to keep your items cold and fresh. The pool was great, and we loved to go there either later in the afternoon, or evening for a refreshing swim, and take each other on in a ping pong match in the rec area. Wireless internet is available both in the main lobby area, and the rec area. The barbeque area is always spotless, and never was over busy as everyone seemed to have their own schedule. I never waited once in two week, and if people only have an item or two on, you could squeeze your stuff on the grill if need be. The OCEAN: aah, the view from the lanai, the quiet and totally private beach, the turtles, whales and other creatures really just made this stay the best. We are saving diligently in order to go back. Even our kids say they want to go back before we get to Disney world, and we have not been there before. If you find it hard finding the turtles, they are always on the north end of the beach towards the houses, riding the surf, and if you are a great swimmer, swimming with them is a breeze. And if you want an up close visit with turtles 20 minutes away at the lagoons, there is a secret public lagoon in the midst of the hotel lagoons. Inquire how to get there, as they turtles swim up and touch you (don't touch them), and even one that had lost it's front flipper is very tame, and friendly. A must do on your trip. We HIGHLY recommend this as a place to stay.

We chose the Hawaiian Princess for a 5 day stay in January, 2011. Had a great, relaxing start to our vacation. Although we were there at a time when the surf was too high for us mid-westerners (high surf warnings throughout Oahu), falling asleep to the sounds of the surf is wonderfull! The condo was clean, comfortable, and provided everything we needed. Thanks so much for letting us stay in this great place!

Aloha! Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us for 3 weeks. This is our third visit to Turtle Beach and love it more each year! Enjoyed the sun, sand and surf and were entertained by the sea turtles and frequent whale sightings. We appreciate all the conveniences your condo offers. Thanks again Mahalo! Special Thanks to Jan and Jody for being so kind when John was sick.

Our two weeks here have been really pleasant and restful. It is so beautiful on this bay, we hung around here most of the time. The sea turtles were amazing. The condo was great, what didn't it have? We hope to be back and soon.

This condo was really comfortable and stocked with just about everything you would ever need on vacation. Bed, very comfy! The beach is fabulous and we never tired of sitting on the lanai watching the sea turtles. Swimming off the beach was excellent. Building was well maintained and NO SMOKING.

Almost every morning we woke to see turtles swimming in the shallows - what a way to start the day. I really enjoyed the quiet mornings on the lanai sipping coffee! This was a great place to relax and rejuvinate! We traveled the island, but we would look forward to getting back to our beautiful little beach and playing in the water there. Our place had boogie boards for the kids to play with and things to keep them entertained. The weather was perfect, so we spent many days just sitting by the pool or on the beach. The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed. All the cooking things were there so we did not have to eat out, the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. We did not have to bring towels or sheets or even very many clothes as it had a washer and dryer so we could carry fewer suitcases for our 2 week stay. That was the best now that airlines charge per suitcase!! This was one of our best vacations and we would love to come back again.

Wow what a view, everything was provided for a perfect getaway. The turtles visited daily, who can imagine being so close to creatures of the sea. The sunsets are to die for. Having all amenities at finger tips was wonderful, not having to purchase them was even better. The manager Sharon and security were both extremely pleasant.

I was amazed at how beautiful the view was from the condo, and how I could spend all day on the lanai! The beach was spectacular, very wide with a dramatic cliff right next to the condo building. Pool was well-kept, as was the condo itself, and having a cute washer and dryer in the closet was a god-send after all the spent at the beach -- we didn't have to have towels draped all over the place. There was plenty of space for our whole family to stay, and I wanted it to last forever. The decor was tasteful and I felt at home, both comfortable and everything we needed in one spot. Truly a home away from home (I wish it were home!) I hear there is a coffee shop closer now, as I missed my cafe at home. Otherwise, it was paradise-perfect!

We live in Australia on the ocean, but it is always different when on vacation. We drove around the island and I know we chose the greatest place to stay - quiet and non-touristy...perfect. I saw a whale jump right out of the water just off the lanai, didn't see any turtles though. It was very cozy with all the amenities available. We had some good ping pong tournaments.
